  • i like how artists don't sound like this live anymore.. <----Sarcasm.

  • i miss you Denise

  • God, now I really miss the early and mid 90's. The music was often simpler but heartfelt and beautiful for the emotion like in this song. Now I can't stand what's on radio these days.

  • SO MY GUTIAR TEACHER"S TWIN BROTHER IS THE GUY PLAYING THE GUTIAR WITH THE BLACK DREADLOCKS HOW COOL IS THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Nixons one of oklahomas greatest bands

  • 1st time i´ve heard that song, i said : hey, that´s the voice of Eddie Vedder" ....really similar ...wonderful song. i love it.

  • 6 people are terrorists who need to give their ears to the deaf.

  • can't believe this is Seether's drummer. Dude must have found the fountain of youth.

  • Check out The Nixons guitarst Jesse Davis' new band "In Union". Go to our profile for a link to the official page, or "Like" us on facebook and follow us on twitter: @InUnion

  • should have been bigger than they were :/ i miss this kind of music... now adays they just get a "pretty face" and someone else to write there songs for them and slap in an assload of auto-tune and a worthless shit "artist" becomes a "star"

  • GENIAL BANDA

  • cool to see johnny with one of his first gigs and now hes tearin it up with seether!

  • Back when I was living in university residence in the late 1990's, a couple of dorm friends used to play this song alot...so hearing this song takes me back in time to some pretty damn good memories of being young and carefree

  • anyway the drummer sux the rest of the band plays cool

  • @byspanky Sucks? Check out Seether bro, he tears the shit outta the drums.

  • The drummer is now the drummer for Seether.

  • WOW! This is awesome

  • Wow dude, thats awesome song! Miss the 90' :/ Back then when you turn radio on you could find some new crazy songs, now im afraid even turning it on.

  • the song is cut....

  • This is a great song; I love it. It has a different meaning for me than for most people. I have two daughters who moved away w/ their mom and stepdad (yes, ironically enough to a town on the ocean) about four years ago. The lines "When I close my eyes, I see you walking in... I see you dancing in my mind" open the good ol' teargates BIG time. Dad misses you, girls!

  • great songs.. 90's still the best. Lemonhead, blindmelon all the other bands..

  • Seen them in concert 5 times.

  • strong, cheers from berlin

  • Miss this song..one of the greatest of the 90's....

  • Great Live performance! The drummer was really gettin into it

  • Wow this is a great live version, sounds just like the album. What the hell ever happened to them?

  • The 90's music will be missed but never forgotten. I wish there was bands like this today, well there out there but mainstream media does not wont that talent anymore. Sad.

  • Great song, great voice. Thanks for posting.

  • Where did the music go? I miss those days, it's sad to see what my kids have to grow up with now. The talent is gone well theres still some out there but the madea wonts hip-hop and rap. But at lest we can say we were there and got to love them days.

  • The dummer is now playing with Seether his name is John Humphrey...I fucking luv Seether!!!

  • According to the Bassist's brother (my band/guitar teacher O_O) the nixons just kinda got lost in the mainstream and broke up

  • Nixons São foda veio!!!! Seja grunge ou pós, nixons eh fooodaa

  • The Nixons kick ass! Although I belive 'Head' is their best song! Fucking great band though! Plus I want Zac's haircut!

  • Comment removed

  • "Sister" was a great song... whatever happened to the Nixons?

  • muitoo dahoraa...o cara éh loko prakas,,hushuas

  • alot of memories !!

  • y did they break up?

  • I dont know, but usually people have egos, sometimes, some people in the band want to change styles to prevent getting pigeon-holed, and that change in too radical, so discord forms. The Wu-Tang clashed on changing styles to pschoydelic on the "Octagon" album. The Talking Heads clashed on the West African/Afrobeat sound on their "Remain in the Light" album. But the Nixons made some well crafted songs.

  • I miss the Nixons

  • the guy at 1:27 is my band directors twin brother ive met him hes cool

  • OK why was there an Asian guy with a southern accent introing this song?

  • That looks like Henry Cho who introduced the song.

  • LOL at the people who think the 90's sucked. What did the 80's have? New Wave (which sucked), Hair Metal (which sucked) and some of the worst fashion I've seen. The alternative in alternative rock meant something for a reason (alternative to all that crap that was popular back then). But, of course, alternative rock ain't alternative now.

  • grunge,,,!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I love this song!!

It's a shame that (a rather large) part of it is missing, though :(

  • those were the days ..

  • I miss college radio. I miss this era. MTV was booming with rock videos, us kids were crowd surfing, and we were picking up guitars to learn the simple chords the bands were using...so we could impress the girls. Now it's all hip hop and reality tv. Some days I wish I could go back to the early 90's when the internet was relatively unknown, cell phones were too expensive for every 8 year old to have one, and guys from Seattle were tearing it up on the radio. Those were the days...

  • Hell yes, they'll never be the same.

  • @WarmothGuitarist I Agree, the difference is I was and i'm living in Argentina. The feeling is the same.

  • @WarmothGuitarist Amen brother!!!!!! The only kid who had a cell phone back then was Zack Morris!!!!!. I saw this band open for Candlebox. That was a hell of a night. I think it was 94 or 95. He did this song solo with an auocustic guitar.

  • @WarmothGuitarist AMEN man... I think about that all the time. This was the best time for music, at least it was my fav time. I still listen to all those bands, I haven't listened to the radio in years. When ever I turn all I hear is SUCK..

  • Thanks for posting this great song from my childhood :)

  • I've always loved this song, thanks for posting it!!!

  • Sounds so close to Pearl Jam Black...

  • ! of my favorate songs. When I was in rehab in the 90s i missed my sisters so much. This song means alot 2 me. When ever i hear it brings back those memories.

  • he sounds fucking amazing

  • bonito cabelo¬¬

  • really underrated band in the 90's, just about all the tract's are great.

  • We used to have radio stations strictly devoted to alternative rock in the 90s. As a kid I'd stay up in my room and listen intently until this song came on. Then I'd peacefully go to sleep happy. Thanks, Nixons.

  • Me and some guys from my highschool garage band back in the 90's are presently rehearsing this song to play at my sister's wedding. It used to make her cry when we played it. (Not because we were bad)

  • drugs were not involved. the band was dropped by their label and they toured up until 2000.

Ricky, Jesse, and John formed Huver after a while then John joined Seether.

they just pretty much grew apart.

  • Drugs did not tear them part... geeeezzzz Stop reading Hit Parade and other shit magazines.

  • this song means so much 2 me and my sis, great song.glad i found it

  • The song is amazing. Brings back great memories. Thx for posting.

  • GRUNGE NOT DEAD

  • i met zac at the curtain club in dallas.....he is really great....i totally love this song...peace.....B

  • this band is from ada, ok they started there in 1994 the drugs tore the band apart

  • preforms it very well live

  • Haha, the assholes that says that the 90's suck in music, they are typical fans of Rihanna, 50cent, or they like thrash metal.

I've got one thing to say to you guys that don't like the 90's:

Go back to your mama's asses, or go masturbate yourselves, cause you don't know what REAL music is.

    motherfuckers.

  • hey asshole, the 90's were the best era, music wise, so quit being a negative nancy and get your head out of your ass

  • lol my whole family was in tht vid except the singer it was my sisters and my cousins my moms friend mas goin out with the camera guy and they needed kids for the video so my sisters and my cousins got in now the camera guy and my moms friend are married lol

  • your 'mom' was your 'sisters' 'cousin'....thats why your all fuckin weird and 1/2 tarded.. but its cool I had a tarded girlfriend once, she ended up being a stripper at a club..... well it was a car but w/e..

  • sounds like matchbox twenty

  • w/e troll

  • the funny thing is he sings more powerful that he did on the record.

  • Even though the 90's sucked major ass music wise, this is actually a good song that came out of the "Life sucks and I love to fuck my flannel shirt" era

  • yea this is a 3 week old comment, but I kinda take it to heart when the FEW like yourself talk shit on grunge, it was grunge music that changed my life forever.. gave music some meaning.. and that my friend is something that was lacking severely during the 80s-90s.... thats the point that you cant understand cause for w/e reason you weren't a part of it, saying 'Life sucks and I love to fuck my flannel shirt era'.. it wasnt the people that made flannels the 'style' it was media pumpin that idea.

  • Great band, had some killer tunes.

  • vastly under rated band.

  • Nixons...

    100000000 x Nixons

  • gran cancion que tiempos aquellos , recuerda mis dias alla por el año 96...... y muy wena performance en vivo ......

  • this was not a full version, I guess....

  • sorry with my grammar, It was not a full version....

  • Most songs done on "live" shows like Letterman, Leno, etc are usually cut down to 2-3 minute versions.

  • This show was kind of like Midnight Special for the 90's,lol.
