I went over to silver palms to try this after I saw it...honestly, there are much better things to eat in Chicago, but the sheer absurdity of this item makes it well worth the experience. Notice Bourdain doesn't talk about how "delicious" it is, but how ridiculous it is - that's really what you're getting here.
My friend saw this video (or episode, I'm not sure) and insisted that when we went out to eat later that week, that we went to the Silver Palm. God, that sandwich was delicious.
