@odell121199 Well see we had a slide behind that chute thing, and me and a couple of stage crew people were behind it with a couple pillows, and making sure they didn't crash their head open. And yes, they originally planned for Ben (Mr. Salt) to jump down the chute headfirst.

@JHFan19026 yup a really, really short one. the chute you can see in the video only leads to the floor of the stage. so the "slide" is like 2 feet long lol. she just had stagehands behind the setpiece helping her not crash into the ground.

This show was actually double cast. There's a different Mike in this video than the other one, and he's like 3 feet taller lol. It's not a matter of one being better than the other, they're just different.

"My" Mike was just a little bratty kid glued to his Gameboy. He didn't need to be crazy, because the audience liked him just for being such a cute tiny kid. [comment continued..]

Then, the Mike in the other cast was 6 years older and 3 feet taller than my Mike. He played the role as like...big and dumb. XD He was taller than his mom and when he said "an IQ of three" he held up 4 fingers.

So it's not that black and white... you can interpret the characters in different ways, depending on who the actor is. :D

By having like five stagehands behind it to catch them! lol. They literally dove onto the floor, there's not even a trapdoor.

On top of that, the other Veruca (the show was double-cast) was on crutches... and she had to dive head-first into a wooden chute... yeah, it was a fun show! xD
