I haven't added sugar to the vinegar. The amount used can be adjusted to taste, or rice vinegar used instead, which I find has less of a bite. They also did a study on farm raise fish that didn't have these parasites. So I would check to see where the fish came from. Its something to think about next time you run out to eat and stuff

I sometimes use cooked fish, shrimp, or crab in my rolls, but often it is only vegetables, and occasionally with cream cheese. Sushi is addictive once you start making it at home....and I would never tell Camera Girl I had her by the belly because of my extreme allergy to black eyes.
it's twice as easy as it looks in the video...I recommend the short grain brown rice 'cause it's healthier than going the white rice route...I had a mango and almost sliced some of that up...I love the versatility of maki sushi.

Oh and there is two sauces that I recomend and usually have them both drizzled over sushi enjoy ^^
1. Dynamite sauce - Mix mayo and Sriracha hot sauce put in squeeze bottles, adjust how hot you want it though
2. Eel sauce - 1/2 cup mirin, 1/2 cup soy sauce, 1/4 cup sugar , simmer ingredients in a sauce pan till reduced 3/4 of a cup refrigerate till cold
