Please stop making weapon videos. People will try to kill rabbits and squirrels. I hunt but this is not an affective way because, first of all the stone will bounce off the animal. Second of all a rabbit takes 12 pounds of impact to kill. This delivers about 3-5 pounds. Lastly, if people try to replace the bands with Thera-Band Gold the fork of the slingshot will snap and can severely injure some one. I highly doubt that this can even go over 200+ feet.

hey, man. nice slingshot. but i recommend tying the bands on using over the top method. and use theraband as the elastic because it is pretty much the most powerful bands you can get(use a rotary cutter and ruler and cutting mat to cut the bands) and one more thing: you should find a branch thicker so you can shave off the bark and work on it like make a palm swell and elastic groves for over the top band tying method. hope this helps:)

@techn9nefinn just the rubber bands the post office use to bundle letters together. They are made from synthetic rubber and are very stretchy and used to be everywhere till the postmen were ordered to re use them

I use single stand bands and not looped bands. I'd like to get my hands on some powerful looped bands like those red ones so that I could try your design. I have to tie mine off at the catapult side which is not as elegant.

@bigdogITbiker i found that the majority of breaks tend to be in the middle of the bands because the cable ties keep the bands so tight to the branch they can't move . If you wanted to you could pass some sandpaper over any sharp/rough spots just to be double sure. hope this helps :)

He shoots through helmuts, watermelons, coconuts. ballistic gel, tin cans, etc. to demonstrate the power of his slingshots. Joerg could easily break your slingshot without trying and eat it with some milk in a cereal bowl, imho.

@bigboy82001 Hey thanks for the comment the bands last around 3-5 weeks depending on storage/use and you don't really get anything clipping your hand so long as you use the right techniques :) and btw i can't really do much in the way of hunting here:( no parks or fields for miles :(
