ASPCA is nothing more than an anti-hunting organization (like HSUS and PETA) that has an animal shelter with high euthanization rates (like PETA). they use the money on anti-hunting and then kill pets because they don't have the money to take care of them.

At the beginning, I actually thought this was a real ASPCA video, you are genuine at this :) Anyways, it's very shocking how people have the emotional potential to.. hurt or kill an animal. Their heartless. I read an article where a girl from NJ baked a kitten! It's cruel, it's heartless, it's everything that's not positive. May every animal abused be rescued by a loving person with a heart, who can provide support. R.I.P for the animals who've suffered and deceased due to animal cruelty.

FBI Supervisory Special Agent Allen Brantley said: "Animal cruelty... is not a harmless venting of emotion in a healthy individual; this is a warning sign..." It should be looked at as exactly that. Its a clear indicator of psychological issues that can and often DO lead to more violent human crimes.
It's so beautiful yet sad at the same time. How come we can't just live in peace and treat Gods creatures like we're supposed too? I've rescued as many dogs as the law allows come on everyone let's make a difference!

Plus, 'adoption dogs' cost far less than AKC dogs, and best of all, dogs who aren't over-bred (like AKC pups sometimes are) are more likely to be healthier in the long run; when they get older they're less likely to suffer from painful (and co$tly!) conditions like Hip Displasia (hope i spelled it right).
(ex:)Breeders tend to keep drawing from the related gene-pools, which can make HD much more likely. Always adopt from your local Humane Society or pound.
@HomeworkHelper1 The fact you ask such an elementary question ... that, in itself, seems to suggest potentially chilling things about your own thinking and/or behavior. Seriously. Jus sayin'... it's a well-established fact that the type of personality disorder associated with debasing animals to the point of harm is that of the sociopath who think humans are no different. Very large number of serial killers hurt/killed animals before killing humans (Hitler, Ted Bundy, BTK Killer, etc. ....

Also, are you saying that if you kill an animal, you will kill a person? I know plenty of people who fish, and they are psychologically sound. What do you think of those well established facts?

Comparing *fishing* to abuse of domesticated pets is another red flag that you don't seem to think animal abuse too big a deal. I also think that your 2nd failure to address your rather insensitive question hints further about how you think. Your 'bait-&-switch' method's pretty lame in itself. I quoted the work of pros who studied the abuse issue; you made up crap. I'd never let a kid near you.

But, what I was trying to point out was that there are left wing extremists that say that killing animals for food is cruelty. I believe that causing a domesticated animal unnecessary pain is wrong, just like it is for a human.
