    excuse me?

  • @junior311 lol, I was just a little annoyed at how rock sucks now, this video reminds me how it's done!

  • @junior311 I believe petefaders was faining distain for the current music scene.

@petefaders Yes, I do remember rock. Do you remember roll?

  • @iamcasihart

And I love you too, Casi!

Every single time I watch it again I feel glad I posted it.

  • @junior311 @iamcasihart I'm going to an STP concert on July 19th. it'll be my fourth one (one each of the last 3 summers and now this summer), and I can say this... Scott has looked a llittle better at each show and even though I know he'll never be crazy like he was here. I'm hoping to see that same passion this time around!

  • @27psw Lucky you! I really hope Scott comes back to "life". Have a good show!

  • That will be shelfed in my favorites forever lol

  • @ZGippe40GK hehehe

    thanks!

  • @junior311 your welcome. I saw them in my hometown of seattl(KENT,Wa) in November. obiviously there are older and not quite what they used to be but are soooo sick still!!!

  • whats the intro song before the video? great post.

  • @ebkkracerx Hi, man....the intro song, only instrumental, as you can suggest, is called "press play". It´s the first track from the same album where "trippin ..." was released. Check out this third album, called "Tiny music". Besides this two tracks, there´s a LOT more great material from STP. Some call it a weird album...well, I call it magnificent!

    thanks for the post

  • @junior311 thank you sir.

  • @junior311 Right on! Thank you for uploading this! I am getting into a lot of STP's less "mainstream" stuff to go along with my love for the first 2 albums. I am also really liking some of Scott's solo material. Pity that I am just now learning of and listening to some of the most interesting, unique and diverse music from both STP and Scott! This is a fantastic performance. From what I have seen, Scott sounded so GREAT during 1999-2000. The VH-1 Storytellers stuff is great, as well!

  • @iamcasihart right on, man! Thank you for posting and enjoying it.

  • @junior311 Well, thank you for posting it! =) Especially since this gal, (me), has never been to see Scott or STP in concert. Even if I am able to see them at some point down the line, I know that Scott will never be like THIS again. He is still beautiful, talented & interesting, but when looking at more current performances, he doesn't seem to exude any real pleasure in performing. It must be all the the loss in his life plus the meds that he takes to be stable & stay off of the hard stuff.

  • @iamcasihart you are absolutely right. Scott will never be the same. There's no Weiland Dance, no shirt off, no craziness anymore, you know? It''s funny 'cause it seems that the reason he was that awesome was the drug addiction. I do not like to think this way, but sometimes, watching 1999/2001 era stuff, it is what I feel. Even when he was playing the good boy, like on that "spring break '97" with Lady Picture show, he looked different. Now he is on the stage but he is just not there.

  • @junior311 It is good to know that I am not the only one that feels this way. The drugs, (opiates in particular), set him free & that euphoria literally oozed from his pores onto the stage. The dancing, crazy shit, sexy/freaky randomness, THE SHIRT OFF! All of that was fucking amazing. The talent was always there, but it's as if he needed the junk to bring it out & make it glow. I can't say the same for his "crack phase" with VR. He looked dead in the eyes & starving. Now, he seems vacant.

  • @iamcasihart the shirt off. the SHIRT OFF! Exactly! I am a straight man and gosh...how I miss that! I miss that look into his eyes, the voice, the WEILAND DANCE.... forever in my mind that old Scott will be.

Listen...do you have a Facebook account? Find me there if you have, ok? My name there is "djalma reis". I feel we need to keep in touch.

    C ya!

  • @junior311 I will look for you on FB. Thanks! :-)

  • HO MY GOD
