Gotta admit, El Tel is in great company up there and I remember being a kid of 7, seeing England getting knocked out by Stefan Kuntz (ironic really) in Euro 96 and crying like a baby, then this song came on and pretty much told the story. Tears rolling down my cheek as I write this. Superb. Saw them at Bristol Uni in 96 (i think) and caught a drumstick thrown into the crowd. Loved that wee drumstick. I think you should do your research. This song is based on the bootleg "Lost Month" tapes by Lennon in the late 70s. John Power settled out of court to pay royalties to the Lennon estate.
