Please try to learn flamenco techniques. You use pop techniques, this makes the song quite weak. By playing picado and using proper rasguiados it will be so much better. And besides tune your guitar when recording a song

@xzotictoyz You're completely right!! I found that daniel cox (the name rings a bell) version you're talking about 5 or 6 years ago, but i deleted it by accident. I forgot who it was by and have been trying to find this song for 3 or 4 years. But yea Barcelona nights is a different song

The actual version, Spanish Rumba by daniel cox is way faster and more intense than this. No offense aleks2v, you play well, but the actual song is unbelievable.

Well, ill forgive that mistake - to make mistakes is human afterall.

But by standard tuning you must mean 440 hertz? Because some people tune them to a diffrent hertz. 444 etc.

But ! besides that. If I want to tune my guitars E string just between a E and a F. I could do that. All I have to do is make sure the rest of my strings are alined as well. its about INTERVALS.

that is true But there are many professional stuff taken from different media like LP (33 or 33-1/3 turn in min) and live concerts not only on internet also on radio, TV... without pitch control adjustment, are out of tune... tune your string instrument and try to play various songs with them, you will see (hear) that you have to tune your instrument more than ones. sometimes on same record songs are not tuned the same..... lot of big names are out of tune :))

I figured this out in a different key awhile back. In my interpretation it goes Eb, Bb, A, G, F#. It's all played on the same string for each part. if you've got long fingers.

E|11 12 13 14 13 12 13 11

is the basic pattern for the beginning.

the 2nd type lick goes

E|11 11-12-13-14 14 14 12 14|

B|11 12131413121112131211|

B| 9 10 11 12 11 10 11 12| 7~~~~~|

You can try that 4 bar lick in any key signature you want and it's about 95% accurate.

It's your right to dislike this song, or his interpretacion of it. But why attack it? Are you a guitar-hero, a pro, or even an advanced classical guitarist? Do you have any understanding at all in some spanish guitar?

Have you read his description? It says "fool cool". Obviously, he hasn't been studying for decades, but it you close you eyes and just listen, it is actually very cool.

In my opinion, I give this guy props for uploading such a video, however, I think he should practice more before calling this 'Spanish Rumba' as it would be played faster and more accurate. Also, try to use a send guitar as rhythm guitar and you do the Solo.
