  • Why can no one spell in this stream? o.0

  • ye nuke it then have it rain little pieces all over us GOOD IDEA

  • PEOPLE NO WORRY NASA GOT EARTH'S BACK

  • Bring da nuke rockets and destroy da aphophis

    /Worldwillbesave

  • just nuke it before its to late

  • B.S.! Bruce Willis could blow it up!

  • we will destroy lthe asteroids if we invents something that terminate the treaths

  • can Apophis hit justin bieber?

  • @TheDavid7171 Ha ha.... or Oprah ? :-)

  • @VirtualNinjaBoy Well trying to destroy it would be risky. If we blew it up there would be hundred, maybe thousands of smaller but still potentially dangerous asteroids that would hit earth. According to Nasa if an asteroid like Apophis was coming towards Earth, the best and safest method would be deflection. you know, launch a spacecraft towards Apophis to knock it off its collision course with Earth. But we don't need to worry as its VERY, VERY unlikely it will head towards earth.

  • Waooo!!!

  • wont happen

  • dont worry chuck norris will destroy it

  • Maybe i have to change my PSN-ID from ,,Apophis_2029'' to ,,Apophis_2036'' ... who knows, who knows. O_o

  • oh, great!

They picked a new year for doomsday!

    I thought this would end, after 1985, 2000, and 2012. But no....more end-of-the-world theories!!! O_O

Besides it's not gonna hit the Earth! Nostradumus predicted the "world will erupt in celebration" after the destruction of an astroid in the future. The world's armies, or governments are gonna invent something to blow it up, or destroy it in space! So...no worries! ^_^

  • @mrmcool1000 a nuke will just make it worse. Why? Because then there is a change that remaining chunks of the asteroid would still hit the earth, better to leave the asteroid the way it is and let scientist do it.

  • @OangelikaO But the nuke could destroy them into miniature chunks and most of them would disintergrate or float away and a few of the very small chunks,so small they wouldn'tdo anything.

  • Fire a nuke at it.Case closed.

  • YAY WE DEFLECTED IT! ^,^

(floats behind the sun and gets slingshotted toward us anyway)

    FFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • NASA is going to fail and we are all going to die -_-. Why? Russia German China will fight to save the earth and earn the dame fame.

  • Cool April 13th. Wont have to worry about filing taxes that year.lol

  • when apophis hits the earth, it is friday the 13.!!!

  • @Gruenkreuz100 also my birthday

  • It Miss The Actual Is 2036

  • What if they accidentally pushed it towards the Earth? XD

  • WHERE ALL GONNA DIE!!!!

  • OOPS WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE!!!

  • @goldenbulletwolf666 idk the size but i know it was not very big

  • @bdgyomomma

It's about 300 meters in diameter... if it hits, were screwed...

  • id be so happy if it hit that id run TOWARDS Apophis and wave hello before im vaporized

  • i personnaly am not too worried about this astoroid yes this is a very real object on a very real near earth orbit that is at certain times they are talking that in 2029 it will pass within about some 20.000 or 30.000 miles really close its chances of hitting still fairly slim and this astoroid is not big enough to cause the death of everybody on earth sure if it hit the impact would be huge and deaths would depend on where it would hit

  • FFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-

  • It doesn't mather were it hits it will kill us all, IF its big enough.

  • i'm more worried about the terminators

  • @tonyhighflyer911

they can't be confirmed , cos when it passes Earth's orbit , the way the asteroid will react to the fluctuation is still uncertain .

So we will see by 2029

  • @FwaamingDwagon no lets hope it just hits you

  • Let it hit us, this is probably what we need, a big shake up.

  • @AGaragon yes let it fall in your city

  • @supergripas Based on predictions, a big wave will come through my town. ; )

  • @AGaragon hey be positive and optimistic i dont think that the asteroid will ever hit us it is going to be next to us for a little bit

  • @supergripas i agree, it's not gonna hit us. peace

  • Duke Nukem is back... we are safe

  • The Coming of ApophisApril 13, 1036

The year is 2021, and the asteroid "Apophis" is on a collision course with Earth. But is Apophis simply an asteroid - or an angel with the keys to hell?

From the end of the holy war to the coming of Apophis, the dead bones of the tribe of Israel come together, renewing the Garden of Eden, and prepare for the Coming... Please read 'The Coming of Apophis by Ben Haran. Order at amazon.com.

  • @Benharan

    are u a fanatic?

  • @goldenbulletwolf666 I'm not sure but i think i remember this one not being an E.L.E (extinction level event). Check it on google.

  • @FwaamingDwagon Firstly, why you a racist? Secondly, your an idiot. An asteroid that size would of course fuck up the site of impact but will also inevitably effect the rest of the planet in time. So where ever you hide your pointless existence you wont exactly be safe either.

  • some on start playin the final countdown

  • Time to call chunk norris!

  • Nasa sux!

  • It's more likely NASA will be scaring you with aliens before we ever get to 2029

  • BOOM headshot

  • Bruce Willis must live until then...

  • it would be an epic failure if the laser that reflects the asteroid

would stop working at the time of the collision lol

  • FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESTUPID NERDS YOU DONT KNOW ANYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • thank you science for lasers and NASA

  • what? i wanna live!!!! i wanna travel the world til i die!!!!!! GOD PLZZ

  • Damn Nature,You Scary!

  • @leax5000 since when is outer space a nature?

  • Why don't these assholes build something and deflect it now instead of waiting until the last minute hoping it will work. morons

  • apophis will not hit for it will hit Justin Bieber only in the balls and not cause an explosion.

Thank god for the Beatles, they ROCK

  • FINAL FLASH FU** THAT PEICE OF SH** ASSTEROID. (yes i know its asteroid but i made it assteroid for a joke)

  • 2012,2016,2024,now 2036? The fuck is going on? It`s as if the solar system has gone thinking that the Earth is some pussy, ass planet! Jupiter has storms "or just gas" The other planets...Are...interesting... And Earth just had to be the most important :P

  • Even if it will hit on 2036, we'd have uber high-tech shit by then...

  • It won't hit in 2029... It will have a very close flyby in 2029, and depending on the effect of Earth's gravitational pull, it can alter the asteroid's direction and have a chance of aligning with us in 2036.

  • nasa will find out something to deflect this , even though it probly wont hit

  • only 3% chance...I'm not too worried, especially considering its still another 26 years away

  • Destiny. cannot alter it. Maybe its time for a new specie. Dinosaurs killed each other and humans are selfish, greedy and corruptive. May sound crazy but there is a purpose to its path.

  • Ursula Sontheil (known as Mother Shipton ) North Yorkshire, England who in 1641 spoke of a comet striking Earth. She was famous for her prophesis (look up her references). She wroite (in 1641): "....a fiery dragon will cross the sky, Six times before this Earth will die, Mankind will tremble and frightened be for the sixth heralds this prophesy. For seven days and seven nights, Man will watch this awesome sight." ... the comet (dragon) will get nearer and nearer with each orbit and then hit ...

  • Bornwithanattitude is right, we don't have to worry because we have Bruce Willis and he can save us. But he is an idiot for running his mouth about the universe when obviously he has no idea how much technology has advance since he flunked out of school.

    Just my 2 cents.

  • @philj038

Really? So why is it that we spend more on wars, and less on space exploration? We don't even have the technology to combat this, only ideas. It cost a lot of money to test these things out, money greedy people don't want to spend.

  • @OLM0923

I think you missed the point of what I was saying..

  • @philj038

Ha, yeah I did, but it's still a shame that we do have the money to combat this. It's always a matter of convincing the men in suits that it's worth it. Maybe we are better off sending a demolition crew up there; it would cost less.

  • @OLM0923

I hear that and with the economy right now there is plenty of the drama going on. I was just annoyed because Bornwithanattitude was being a douche.

  • @philj038 they can't predict when and where a falling satellite is going to hit earth which is a few miles away and let alone light years away asteroids. jeez, you probably believe in santa claus and tooth fairy. read the news.

  • @bornwithanattitude These things aren't Light Year's away, first of all. It's really not that hard to do the math to conceptualize approximations for events like this.

  • Earth End ;( 100% we all die ;(

  • 3% of 100 now i can sleep in peas!

  • Pack your bags people! Were going to Mars!

  • and im not ganna lie half the size of a football field would destroy the earth of impact. you would think well our atmosphere would just burn that up well actually it is to big and the impact would be tremendous but if we can shoot misles at this thing before 2039 when its traveling fast we can knock it into 10 10 yard pieces before it gets into our atmosphere and it would burn up but i have researched and there is this thing called the great rip i would xplain more but space so wont hap u 16b y

  • ok let me explain something to all u people that are considering the world ending soon. let me begin.ok in 2029 there is a 1 in a 100 chance of the asteroid getting pulled into the earths gravitational pull. in 2036 if that happend then the asteroid is like 1 football field size this can do massice damage. but think about it in 2029 we will have great technology. if it does get in the pull then we can estimate the time which is 2039 then we will make a so called bomb to blow it up into pieces

  • people need to chill and stop worrying about asteroids hitting us. theres scientists and nasa looking and checking for this stuff everyday. if the think one will will hit us the go to space and zap it or do something to get it out of our orbit. we are FINE.

  • U gotta send bruce willis and ben afflick and that big black guy with the deep Voice i forget jos name

  • I have prophetic insight concerning this matter. I predict that it will hit the earth in the 2030's in the area of the Mediterranean sea. BE PREPARED!

  • Send out Bruce Willis!!!:D

  • Just continue putting your faith, trust, and life in the hands of these GREAT scientists! They are your SAVIORS! But you aren't even aware that we had a 10 story meteor come past the earth on March 2009 just 1/5 of the distance from the earth to the moon! And guess what, NOBODY WAS EVEN AWARE OF IT UNTIL IT HAPPENED ! Yes, your scientist messiahs didn't know it was coming and nobody was ever told nor aware that they might have been drawing their last breath !

  • 2000 we die,2012 we die,2015 we die,2020 we die,2029 we die,2050 we die....we died so many times it's getin boring...

  • Sephiroth used black materia now we're all fucked.

  • The odds have now been reduced to it hitting earth in 2036 to 1 in 400. Which seems ok until you realise it was 4 in 1000000 last year. The odds seem to be dropping at an alarming rate. The potential consequences are huge so why don`t we hear more about it in the media?

I`ll give it 10 years before I max out the credit cards.

  • Why do they keep changes dates first it was1999 then 2012 then 2029 then 2036 and last they say sometime in the 2050s god if were gonna die we will just make it 2012 and any year after that.

  • @TheTMVProject the probability is given as a position function so there is more then one solution for the when it could happen

  • Thank god for Nerds

  • @livingisaight amen lol

  • take out mexico please

  • @greasy220 take out america...the giant space rock will rid the earth of retards like yourself before next election and we can finally remove the commie bama

  • @mrtrollmaster1 this coming from someone who calls themselves troll master? get a life kid

  • @greasy220 its a joke dude

  • hit mecca

  • when will apophis enter our atmosphere

  • this is a bunch of crap. they are really able to tell me that an asteroid will be hitting the earth 30-40 years from now? bullshit

  • @bornwithanattitude ugh, you're a dumbass. They see the asteroid with a telescope, they track it's path. Yes, they cán predict that. You just don't want to believe that the earth will end sometime because it sounds so unreal. I'm not a doomsayer, all i say is this: Apophis is indeed headed for earth, but by then people will have found out something to stop it. Or atleast i hope so.

  • @terhenti listen you idiot. we don't have the technology to see an asteroid heading towards earth 35yrs ahead. think about it - a telescope that can see that far??? binoculars?? idiot. these are just predictions.

  • @bornwithanattitude i'm not an idiot, actually you are. You're just proving that you don't know what you're talking about. Yes, our telescopes can see very very very very far. We've seen 13 billion years old light. We can detect planets orbiting around a star on the other side of the milky way.

Think about what you say next time..

  • @terhenti "13 billion years old light"??? haha What the hell does that mean? You mean 13 billion light years. You just showed me that you have no clue what are you talking about. Plus, just think about it how far 13billion light years is. Yeah we sure have a telescope that can see that far. Go back to school moron.

  • @bornwithanattitude dude you're wrong. If something is 13 billion light years away, then it means it takes the light from whatever it is we're looking at that long to reach us, which means effectively we can see 13 billion years into the past. And so @bornwithanattitude is correct in saying we have telescopes that can see 13 billion year old light, and so we definitely have telescopes that can see an asteroid 35 years away....

  • @bornwithanattitude I've seen your channel.

Are you really 34 years old? wow immature as fuck. Not gonna make this into a flame-fight though.

    Anywayzzzz.. Surfingers is right.

    You just didn't think.

About you not believing we can spot an asteroid 35 years away: You just refuse to believe it may one day hit the earth, because you think its another false alarm (just like y2k and 2012).

Why don't YOU try going back to school?

  • @terhenti haha what a moron. you can put any birthday when you open an account on youtube or anywhere else. i can't even remember what i put there. it's not like they check IDs when you open one, airhead

hey but thanks for checking out my channel/profile. make sure you subscribe.

Point is, don't believe everything it's out there. After all , it is the job of the government, media, government agencies and so on to keep people in constant fear and people like you are easily manipulated.

  • @terhenti - plus, think about it, NASA can't even get clear shots (photographs) at the planets that are a few miles away and let alone see something that's 13 billion light years far, like the idiot below claims. If i converted 13 billion light years into miles, number won't even fit here. If Nasa were able to see that far, they would be able to see every single detail in each of the planets in our solar system. I am talking down to the tiniest rock in each planet. contin....

  • @terhenti conti...But no, one year there is water/ice in Mars, one year there is no water in Mars. Nasa is a great agency but they need huge government funds to keep running. By coming up with things such "asteroids hitting earth 35 years from now" which odds are so little, they keep people in constant fear. Anyhow, the end of this stupid discussion. What's the point of discussing something that's beyond your brain power :)

  • @terhenti they can't predict where a satellite is going to hit and let alone light years away. read the news. jeez

  • @bornwithanattitude Way to reply to a 7 month old reply dumbass.

  • lol! If this asteriod DOES come within range of Earth, we can easily deploy something and shoot a missile so we can alter it's course, so it'll miss the Earth.

  • @drybowserman9091 Exactly lol

  • @ridely700 Even funnier, we all know about it and yet we're doing nothing about it lol

  • @drybowserman9091 , we cannot control storms...less alter the course on an asteroid. Maybe this planet is attracting it to kill the virus called man.

  • we.. we will have alot of technology in 2029 lol

  • @isakilla1 apple will built an app that would divert the asteroid with a click of a button.

  • @bornwithanattitude exactly!

  • If we can deflect that asteroid in 2029, that means we can enjoy MORE life for another seven years! Amazing?

  • Its not really an asteroid its something much worse....its Rosie o donnell!!!. So yea we are going to die.

  • Nevermind 2029, TODAY we are building nuclear weapons & aiming it at each other, burn holes in our Ozone, chop down Forests that supply earth with Oxygen, eat species into extinction and deplete our fresh water supply, life itself. Stories like this 1 keep us occupied while corruption eats us from behind.

  • I hope SSB4 comes out before Apophis strikes.

  • A space laser would take years to develop and probably bankrupt the US, so it would have to be an international endeauver.

  • @RainbowManification for god sake, if we dont want our earth to die, they should just let them build it free..

  • Meh, Just Tsar Bomb it

  • Well im Welsh so all i have to say to this is.. Bring it on.

Also send Bruce Willis and Ben Affleck up there, they will take care of it

  • NGW007 no, I didn't ask a question, I made a statement, stupid.

  • well... if that asteroid is big enough to destroy the earth why do scientists not think that the gravitation of the earth can catch it as a second moon?

like mars has phobos and deimos,

  • GOKU, SAVE US!!

  • @ishigum SUPER KAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

  • Thank for the comment shadow36711, it was more a political statement, perhaps it didn't come across too obvious to you..... however, I know my mortality and accept it like most sheep, personally I find it facinating and research the subject. I also like life and if we have the technology, then why not work towards keeping the planet alive. Our day will come eventually, by then, who knows, we may be living on other planets.......my previous statement is still valid and remains.........

  • Lets get some of these countries that are causing wars to solve this problem, put the money in, and develop the solution......yes thought so, we are ok when we are useful in the Western World....huh!

  • @NGW007 why solve this problem if it happens it happens don't be a baby about it.

    (;

  • @NGW007 Agree with you entirely. There is a lot to be answered for... Our behaviour needs to change as one race for all man kind.

  • @NGW007 No, you're pretty much useless anywhere.

  • @snatchpro

Thank you for you question, interesting question. Apophis is travelling at a high velocity, based on its mass and in addition to the gravitational pull from earth, the velocity will increase to speeds greater than than the gravitation pull. However, this on a positive note can be useful for deflection. eg. If driving a car at high speed a touch on the steering wheel will significantly alter it's course. Do the same thing with a very slow vehicle will require more energy.

  • Something to think about. What happens when an asteroids orbit is changed because of a collision with another asteroid or a large meteoroid? Maybe a surprise visitor from space?

  • Billy Meier predicted this would happen

  • 0:14, O MY SHIT IF THAT WAS SCALE!!!!!!!!!

  • Its a scary thought, but I bet we deflect it as soon as it get here.

  • what i want to know is why are all these things are ALLWAYS picking on poor earth :(

  • @jr2nd oh my friend, please watch more scientific videos. All sort of asteroids, dying stars, black holes destroy many stars, and many planets. We have actually been pretty lucky.

  • @fresh0wnsyou lucky? i've never heard anything pick on mercury, venus, mars, saturn, neptune etc.etc. all this doomsday crap EVERYthing is aiming for us like were a super massive bullseye in space lol

  • aha okey

  • Well I don't know how about You but I belive in other civilisations existence and If they are exist asure You they have technology capable to make that asteroid hit the earth. Now tell me why nostradamus said there will be many orange meteorlike signs on the sky and thats happening from 1999 - till oct 2010... Now tell me why russia and america spend milions of dollars to "save the planet" If You ask me... This is going to happend. Asteroid will hit the eart h

  • so theres always something. make us paranoid until year 2000 nothing happens freak us out for nothing......2012 if nothing happens freak us out for nothing.......2026 if nothing happens just, stfu............... ffs!!!!!;

  • KAH..MEH..HA..MEHHA!!!!

  • god will always save us

    the erth nerer die

  • @TheNastasiaFan I think you'll find that no such god will save us in approximately 5 billion years when the sun dies and the earths crust will melt to recreate earth as a ball of molten rock.

  • Scientists always say if and, if ,and if.......

  • @MelonheadTheMan if it wasn't for that word 'if' I would be millionair...

  • @paxpacis2 hahahah ya

  • dont worry guys!

i'l do a Kamehamehaa and blow that shit up before it hits us!

  • Comment removed

  • everyone just need to stop wit this 2012 2029 shiit 2012 isnt true and these other years aint either

  • blow that son of a bitch up

  • @oOcrazy95Oo that would be a lovely film but unfortunately its not realistic :/ it would make thousands of tiny asteroids which could make as much if not worse damage.

  • the earth does have alot of nukes like america and russia have about 2000 between them that 4000 not counting all the other countries if we destroy every inch of the rock and i mean every part and dig a few into it the chances would be better

  • @jamespatrick15 This isn't like a hollywood movie where you can float up on the asteroid and toss a few nukes down a hole, but it's not likely to hit us anyways. :D

  • It does seem suspicious that all this attention is given to this asteroid shortly after the US government threatened to cut funding to the space program. But if NASA are exaggerating the odds of impact to get more federal money, then it is NASA that will disappear in 20 years, not the earth. Either way when this thing flies by and misses us, which it almost certainly will, it will be a great show.

  • even if it is true they can just launch a rocket with lots of nukes and when it hits it it'll blow up the asteroid

  • Whats up with this shit i guess where all suppose to die in 2012 and now where gonna die again in 2029 -_-

  • @FaMoUsSaGe actually apophis would only effect a few thousand square kilometers. chances are you wont die if it hit earth which by the way the chances of an impact in 2029 have been ruled out and the chances of impact in 2036 are 1 in 250,000 (the chances are expected to decrease as more data comes in) so no real need to worry! ^-^

  • yer but still if it hits it gonna kill someone lets say if it lands neara city thousand lives it be worst if ithits the sea giant waves would go every were

  • @jamespatrick15 yes thats "if" it hits a city and lets be real, after apophis passes by in 2029 we will probably know where it will hit if it does giving the habitants plenty of years to relocate. this asteroid poses very very little threat. The only scenario i find to be the most worrisome is the tsunami one you mentioned not because of the potential loss of human life (if any) but it threatens the infrastructure of economies because it endangers port cities.

  • why are all these asteriods allways going to come in contact with the earth :( come on man hit mars, venus, mercury but leave us the hell alone! lol

  • I will be 44 in 2029. Well, propbly not cause i'm gonna die @ age 43 because of an explosion at a party... See i can predict too bitches :)

  • @texasB666 dont do anything stupid ._.

  • I'll be 76 yrs. old if I live to 2036, who give's a shit anyway, it's not like I'm goin' to be the only one who gets hit by the asteroid!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

  • @rodbustercalif

this was in 2008...nowadays, the probability is of 1 on 1 000 000

  • .. This 2036 is BS but if i die in my 40s i'll be pissed.
