Just tried this bait out for the second time. No luck. I defiantly have to use painty hose because although it does pass the swing test/shake test it disperses of the treble hook in the water. It does stink to the high heavens. It did not workout for me thus far.

@jchuey13 No you can not use circle hooks sorry. You got to use dough bait trible hooks. They have a spring on it, somtimes i use a 3 way swivel to put 2 hooks on it. Only way im see you use other hook might be to use girls stocking legs. One day im going to do a video on it to show how it to be done.

@jchuey13 Its up to you the first day because the wheat keep it dry out the grease from the meat. When you get done fishing put it in the fridge how long you want it. I kept some for 7 month before. You need to add more wheat to it to dry it out some more because ice turning into water. If the water real ruff use legs stocking. Best time is when the water is little calm. I fish about 4am to 11am or 6pm to 2am. Its to hot in the day the catfish in the deep holes. If you got a boat its realy on.

We always had pretty good luck using just plain wheaties made into dough balls. Alot cheaper and one heck of alot less smell. Will try it with some cheese sometime or some cream style corn mixed with the wheaties.

I caught so many over years I lost count. My father show me when i was young. If you do paylakes, You will clean them out. I have bluegill somtimes bite it. The water in river can not be rushing fast or it want stay on. I put pandys hose around the doughbait and trouble hook and put a twistey tie around it to hold the pandys hose tight.

yeah it works. I'm going to do a video on it like a week or two. The cheese got a bad smell and the hamburger make grease go everywhere. Catfish or Carp go by smell then sight. make sure you get trouble hooks with the spring on it because it's better. I like early morning or couple hour before dark or all night.
