It may look like a colossal Zeppelin flying at high altitude, but if you look closely it's just a small ship at low altitude. If you look closely you can see the camera and the model engine, even wrinkles in the Mylar. And as for the similarity, Daniel Geery homebuilds them, no two are alike. Also, even a small Zeppelin would have way more to it than that that simple blimp.
It's nice to know that our own air traffic controllers couldn't pick this up on radar with it's size and all. Uhm ok the Hyperblimp by Daniel Geery is real and he has been working on it for quite a while. Just happened that his batteries went dead when he tried out a new propeller. It looks like the grounded model has low Helium gas pressure, causing the seams to stand out; the visibility of the seams would decrease if the pressure were increased. You can also see the seams on the sides of the blimp on the original airborne footage in the close ups. The color is identical and the man is known by friends and neighbors to be a blimp hobbyist.
I wouldn't rule out the possibility of Government interference in a situation like this, IF the craft were really of a classified nature. But the picture seems to confirm that the two craft in question are of the same design. Looking, in the shadow of the photo, behind the man, the true size of the blimp can be seen, it appears that we are only seeing the first half, most of it is behind him, and you can also see the stabilizers at the rear.
