I think the reason your hair grew so fast after using anti-dandruff shampoo is because it strips all the crap off the scalp, all hte crap would have been blocking the holes in which the hair grows out of. So, with the crap gone the hairs were free to grow! :)

I think your hair probably grew faster because all the dandruff was crowding your folicles, blocking growth. But it could very well be the pyrithione zinc.

Yes the reason that would have made your hair grown faster is becacuse because it contains zinc which help your hair grow faster. instead of using that shampoo you could just take a zinc supplement.

Wow! I just googled this subject and surely there is a connection of pyrithione zinc causing a faster hair growth. I'd better use more of that Equate shampoo that I have in my shower. I definitely have noticed my hair got longer recently after I did start using that again here and there. I will NOT share this shampoo with my husband since haircuts are costly. =D I will have to share this news with friends that have been having hair growth problems.

The vitamins are good but you will grow coarse hair everywhere not just head lol ...the reason it helps its because that pythione zinc cleans the scalp so your skin on your scalp gets to breath ( cleans pores)
