MeltedFlowers is right folks. Paintings are now created with sticks around the outside, rather than actual wood blocks. Sticks are made from crafting by placing two wooden tiles on top of each other. You'll get 4 sticks for every two wooden blocks used.

@Soyawannabeamasta What's the point? You're not actually making the art, it's already in the game. If he makes it so you can paint and it is determined that way, then maybe. But I wouldn't say "free diamond" cuz then you could EASILY break the game... maybe obsidian or a random rare ore, but only for extremely good ones would it be diamond.

I just bought mine craft under my profile on the minecraft website.

However, there are four options on the site.

singleplayer and multiplayer for minecraft classic.

in-browser and download under minecraft alpha.

which one do I have to select to get the different game options such as:

Creative, Survival, Indev, and Indepth?

also for the generate level options.
