Audition: Logitech USB Mic (Pre-Solution)

These are the steps I did to make my logitech usb microphone work in this program. Plug in your microphone, click microphone, Audio Hardware Setup, Keep it as Audition 3.0 Windows Sound, Control Panel, X the Logitech USB microphone, click OK, OK. And record! I'm about to upload a song I just recorded and mixed on it.

I HAVE THE SOLUTION! I used "AUDACITY" to record and it WORKS!

here are the steps:

1) Install Audacity (you can download it for free)

2) Open Audacity and go to the "Edit" tab

3) Find "Preferences" under the "Edit" tab (it's usually at the bottom)

4) Once you're there, at the left hand panel, go to "Devices"

5) Look for "Recording" (it should be at the bottom)

6) Click the drop down on "Device" and look for "Microphone (Logitech USB Microphone)"

7) Click "Ok" and you're good to go

I have the same issue man, it's shit because you can't hear what you record. I don't know why it doesn't work -_-

if you go to device properties then go to control panel .. check mark the little X next to the usb mic

it is possible but you cant use the ASIO driver which then kind of defeats the purpose because quality will suffer and also there is a delay issue when you are recording. If you want to still set it up let me know and I can tell you the steps but it really is just a total pain in the ass and a problem with adobe audition 3 very frustrating to say the least. but if you use other mics and a usb interface it will of course work fine but still shouldnt be this difficult

I wasn't expecting the Selena Gomez background at the end. Anyway i tried to record using a logitech usb mic and it wouldn't work and now i know why. I wish you could record with it

try VMware Fusion, it runs any windows application on mac

haha, yes your right its definitely vista, but i got the mac theme because i really hate windows, and ended up buying another Dell computer....(P.S. Adobe Audition is only for windows, score one for Microsoft!)
