They are for us like milestones marking the approach of the return of Jesus. That is why they are descriptive so we can recognise them and "count them down" as they come to pass. They are an encouragement that the promises will likewise surely come to pass, a guard against false prophets and to prepare us. As Rev says

Rev 22:16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches.

As to researching this stuff I've littered the video with all sorts of keywords and names you can use to begin searching the web or libraries. Just take note of who is providing the info. I try for independent secular sources to begin with and then compare it to those with vested interests

It is important to believe in, obey and submit to the authority of The one true Elohiym, Yahweh/Jehovah, and His son who has been appointed to rule FOR Him, Jesus the Christ/Messiah (literally the annointed one - that is annointed with power and authority).
Just believing in any old "god" man's imagination can cook up will not cut it.

Interesting you believe the account of "a Jewish historian" and yet you do not believe the actual verified EYEWITNESS accounts of those who were actually there. The 4 Gospels and Acts are eyewitness accounts compiled by those who were actually present, many of whom accompanied Jesus Himself.
Archaeologists and Historians accept the Bible as a verified and authenticated HISTORICAL account even if some of them do not accept it as the word of God.

About religion I agree, that is why I do not follow a religion, I follow Jesus Christ. BUT you cannot follow Jesus Christ and not believe in the Bible for it is the ONLY authoritative record of His commands and teachings that exist. As for the OT these are the "Scriptures" that Jesus HIMSELF upheld and quoted from as the authoritative word of God. The Bible is the word of God, not the word of religion. It was not written by any church but by the Apostles and eyewitnesses of Christ Himself.(cont)

If you want to reflect on who wrote the bible that was compiled from existing preserved, and thoroughly authenticated documents after the churches came together and spoke often at the Great council of Nicaea in 325AD, ponder the words of the prophet Malachi written some 420 years BEFORE Jesus was born:- (see next comment for quote)

Consider for yourself if the Bible was prophesied as a book written by the Lord some 745 years BEFORE it was assembled, when those that feared the Lord (the true and faithful Apostolic churches) spoke together often at Nicaea under the Byzantine Christian Empire.

Anybody who believes the Bible believes Jesus had siblings - the Bible SAYS He did.
I know some religions try and teach that He did not - but such a teaching is not in accordance with the Bible but is contrary to it. Even the word of churches should be tested against the word of the Lord to see if it comes from God ... or does not.
We should always remember in Revelation it was the churches that were admonished as erring, BUT the promises were to the righteous INDIVIDUALS in the churches.

A little Jewish boy,whose orphaned 13 year old mother living in a Jewish religious synagogue finding herself pregnant (probably by some young rabbi student roaming the corridors at night ( no electricity) a long white gown carrying a lamp declaring himself an angel of the Lord and then "be it done unto me according to thy word!" Well how could he resist? Jewish maidens left those synagogues in the same condition for years all declaring a "Virgin Birth" of the "Jewish Mesiah".

That's why I give so many names, places, etc so people can Google around for themselves. I don't want people to just accept what they are being told. I want them to try the spirits as the Bible says.

That's why I've stuck to the FACTS. ANYBODY can go and check out the history books and historical records, and even the writings of Eusebius, Constantine, and the Pre-Byzantine church Fathers for themselves. They just need to be aware that a lot of later writers have tried to skew or hide the facts and that both the RC and the EOC have vested interests in providing their own varying versions of church history.
But as I said in my video I ENCOURAGE people to check out the facts for themselves.

G'day,
This is also very interesting, the book of revelation has been interpreted by many Bible scholars over the years and some have probably been wrong(I'm not saying you are wrong).
I just wonder what purpose these prophersies are intended for, do we need to do anything more than believe and have faith in Jesus or are these for us to be wary of things that will come to pass and make sure we are not decieved.

They are for us like milestones marking the approach of the return of Jesus. That is why they are descriptive so we can recognise them and "count them down" as they come to pass. They are an encouragement that the promises will likewise surely come to pass, a guard against false prophets and to prepare us. As Rev says
Rev 4:1...Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.
Rev 22:16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches.

As to researching this stuff I've littered the video with all sorts of keywords and names you can use to begin searching the web or libraries. Just take note of who is providing the info. I try for independent secular sources to begin with and then compare it to those with vested interests
