thank you for your time and effort this was very helpful and exactly what i needed to get more energy for my projects. its a lot more environmentally friendly than hydrochloric acid and iron lol
Hello Mr. Raines from Expertvillage thank you for sharing your knowladge ;D I'm Pete from Malaysia. I want to know how to make hydrogen peroxide (for hair salon product purpose), Hence the need for raw knowladge video from you and expertvillage ;D pls inform me if it is possible (or not) pls...
The difficulty with this approach is that hydrogen comes off one of the electrodes and oxygen off the other electrode but when they are stacked as in this set of videos the gases are not separated. To produce electricity from a fuel cell requires hydrogen to be introduced in one side and oxygen on the other, not a mixture as produced by this device.
Ok. I've heard to much hydrogen to your engine is bad. Is this true? If not, can you make a huge hydrogen generator to power your car using very little to no gas?
"We know its a perfect fuel, and we need to run our cars on it." WRONG. In addition to our inability to safely store significant quantities in a limited volume, YOU PUT MORE ENERGY INTO THE ELECTROLYSIS TO MAKE IT THAN YOU GET BACK FROM BURNING IT. That is a fact that anyone who's an introductory level thermo class would know. You sir, are an idiot.
@jippy104 Dumbwit. Bring all the equipment over to the ocean and push drill bits into the ocean floor and pump out the crude oil. Bring it to refinery and boil it and distill it. It is very very very energy inefficient. Baking powder and Salt does the job well. Salt how to make them? Boil the seawater you get salt. jippy read more. Stop critising when your knowledge is not more than spongebob.
You have a point. However, if you use a voltaic cell rather than combustion to release the stored energy, you can get back almost 100% of the energy you put in.
@g00degg, shut the hell up you halfwit, its IMPOSSIBLE to commercially produce energy by first using MORE energy to produce hydrogen, you twit. And btw, oil production is comparatively energy efficient, due to the high energy density of crude oil. I refer you to your own last sentence.
if you subscribe to any one of the videos, you will have a new video list pop up under the main video list... called related videos with all the videos from expertvillage... but not in order :(
@TopOfTheLine3 Yeah, but when they brake it up, they get about 10 times as many views : /. It's a pretty annoying thing to do, but they have to keep their ratings and views up to make it worth anything.

In NW Australia, we have huge tides,
huge evaporation and huge dry rivers and lakes.
Tides are up to 12m. Evaporation is up to 4m per year .
Huge 12m tidal river erosion can revive old dry once mighty rivers, creeks and lakes,
desalinate the country and change deserts to rain forests to provide more rain across Australia.
we need more energy, food, land, water and cooler climate,
Plenty of energy and HYDROGEN TO RUN YOUR CAR environment friendly.

Hydrogen is efficient, but electrolysis is not, you put more energy into making hydrogen than you get out of burning it.

They should number each clip and include a link to the previous and next at the beginning and end of each session.
This is clip one, I think.
