  • I am so sorry :( what a smart dog..

  • Sorry to see Mojo passed.... I favorited this video long long ago and it actually hurt me to see he is no longer with us.... RIP Mojo You were a good smart boy!

  • My Aussie has a natural bobbed tail, and I'm hoping that her pups will aswell. :) I am very sorry about your loss. He seemed like a very good dog. :)

  • Such a great video!!! We have recently lost our Aussie...They are so smart and loyal...Love the video of Mojo's tricks...

  • Mojo is a very beautiful aussie, he looks alot like my aussie that i lost last yr also, she was born in 1999, best dogs ever!

  • that is awesome. How long did it take you to train him? are they friendly towards kids? are they aggressive at all?

  • awe what a good doggers :] my Typud will be that good when he grows up!!!!

  • @pookiepandapolice i meant tydus xD

  • wow, this is amazing!!! RIP. he seems to have been a great dog!!

i will definitely learn from this and teach my own aussie some of those things!!! i love how he waits for SO long!!! awesome!

  • UH! Can't stop watching this video, I want an Aussie sooooooo BAD!!!! >=D AAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!

  • @MyBestBUDDYIsAGoat I finally got one!!! =D

  • What a good (and cute!) DOG!!!

  • @MyBestBUDDYIsAGoat Sorry for your loss... ='(

  • Mojo's so cute!

  • What a sweet dog. R.I.P. Mojo!

  • おりこう!!

  • he is so smart and loyal!

  • wow what a loyal dog! I just got an adorable little puppy I'm not sure exactly what she is she is all brown with long fur and little collie ears...so i'm thinking part collie. She is about 10 weeks old and already knows how to sit and lay down. I would love to teach her more of these tricks....is there a website or video I can watch to learn more about training puppies? thank you!

  • After every trick, he stands there looking at the camera like, "Hey! Okay! What can a do next!!?".

This is why dogs are awesome. They enjoy your company. Dogs love you. Cats love food.

I dare you to get a cat to care more about their best friend's approval than a treat on the nose.

  • Great dog, you could see the intelligence in his eyes. I know how hard his loss must be for you, I'm sure you miss you constantly. What a great life you gave him by working his mind and body.

  • I'm sorry to hear that about Mojo. I found this video last Sept and have been modeling my aussie's tricks and what not after Mojo... He's such a beautiful aussie. I'm sorry for your loss.

  • what a great dog, R.I.P. Mojo

  • Truly an amazing animal!! Beautiful coloring and a wonderful personality! Mojo was certainly lucky to have such a caring family as well.

Great video; thank you for posting this!!

  • What a fantastic boy I am sure he lives on in heaven doing all those tricks. The last one tells all though....his eyes are so mournful! Thanks for sharing this it's wonderful.

  • hehe he has eyebrows

  • this is a dog that truly loves to please. my girl nala looks a teeny bit like mojo, she doesn't know as many tricks though. nice vid!

  • This is one of the very best, truly superb videos on YouTube.

Mojo is such a wonderful dog.

  • WOW

    that is AMAZING !

    what a smart dog and pretty <3 : ]

  • He is so cute! i will a dog someday too!

  • he's lovely

  • Count me in as an official Mojo fan!

My aussie rescue girl Bella (see her videos on my channel) says she thinks he's handsome!!! :-)

  • You have really inspired me to work very hard on training our Australian Shepherd puppy. Nice work!!

  • Smart dog!

  • You have trained your dog well! Mine can do most of the same behaviors, but they aren't hardened. She likes to play with the ball instead of releasing it to me, etc. I need to do more work with her...she is proud of herself, you can see it in her eyes when I praise her for heeling so well without a leash, etc.....

MOJO is a so handsome and so smart. You've done a terrific training job! Good Job MOM!

  • and their Australian Shepherds!

  • I have two dogs one just loves JUMPING!!

  • that was unbelievable!

  • thats amazing i have assuie thats really smart too but dosent know that much

  • its not choclate u retards it fucking jerky

  • He is beautiful! Loved it how he just looked at you walk around him... haha.

  • Aw, these dogs are so smart.

Is that carreb you put on it's nose btw?

  • nooo chocolate nooo

  • WOW! that was TERIFIC! we just saved a aussie from the pound didn't have a name or nothing. He's so stuburn I've only tought him sit, roll over, and come How long did it take you to train mojo all those tricks?

  • Niice! You have trained him well.

  • Mojo... 5 stars do not even begin to do you justice.

  • very adorable dog!! :D

  • I just adopted a 4 month old double merle, (perfect health) how do I train him to do that ?

  • Do what? There was many tricks... But start practice basic things like sit, down, come... If u don't know how to practise, go to some dogschool or something. And I can too give you some advice if you like.

  • omg *-*

  • That was amazing! Such a well behaved dog, and trust's you a lot! ADORABLE dog i might add!

  • Beautiful dog! And brilliant dog!

  • all my border collie can do is sit, shake, drop, roll over and turn around in a circle and i thought that was good!!!

my favourite was dead, that was too cute.

  • aww i wnt it lol

  • my dog is getting put deown on monday

  • so sorry

  • so sad :(

  • wow that was a beautiful and good dog and all the tricks were amazing. i just got a austrailian sheppard puppy and i wanna try something like that with my dog.

  • Wow, it makes me feel so happy to watch this. You have obviously spent a *lot* of time with him, and formed a good, strong bond, and he loves you. It's especially great that he is an older dog who is still happy, healthy and valued. So many people get puppies because they are cute, but when they stop being so cute and they realised it's work to train them, they end up in a back yard with no interaction, in a shelter, or shuffled around from home to home. Great job.

  • aww he's so beautiful and such wonderful tricks!!

    your such a great trainer!!

    ^^

  • damm...that dog is more obedient than i am lmfao. good job!

  • Comment removed

  • great dog! Mine would so love him!!

  • I love this video! He's a very impressive dog. I can't wait to start training my new aussie pup. I'll be bringing home a blue merle and your video is very inspiring!

  • Beautiful! Thanks...

  • omg dayumm hes good! a kool trick would be while he has the treat on his nose do "paw" or "down", just some suggestons but wow hes amazing

  • ive been trying to train my dog and hes hard headed and wont litsen how do you do it???

  • Be patient, don't get upset or angry, and if you start to feel frustrated, take a break.

Make it fun, a game or something the dog likes to do. Reward, never punish.

Get some good training books, and if you can, enroll in classes.

    Be consistent.

Do several short sessions a day, no longer than five minutes at a time, and always make it a pleasant thing for the dog.

You have to earn his trust first, and always be patient. Never lose your temper, walk away before you do that.

  • what a smart dog! i hope my girl pup gets to be that loyal and smart!

  • There are a lot of great dogs out there who never get a chance to show their potential. In most cases, it's up to the owner/trainers to help them do it. If you are fair, gentle, consistent, and form a good bond with your dog, she will want to do anything to please you. If you don't put in the time and don't have the patience, she won't won't learn much, and it won't be because she isn't smart enough. Get some good books on training, and get her in classes, she'll be great.

  • wow! any training tips? i just got an aussie puppy, black tri.

BTW: red bi or red merel?

  • What a beautiful and intelligent dog.. you guys did great!

  • how cute at 3:25?!! what a super dog, but although AS's are intelligent, that takes a little training as well, so well done!

  • WOW HES SO BEUTIFUL! :O

  • I love his eyebrows. What a dear boy.

  • Wow! That's amazing! My Aussie, Rio, doesn't know ANYTHING! Well, besides "Want to go out?", "Walk", and "Wanna feed the dogs?" He's a little piglet! I taught him how to sit...he just doesn't seem to remember the command.

  • i have 2 aussies, a red tri and a black, they are so cute n.n they don't know as many tricks as your dogs knows, but aussies are probably one of the best breed of dogs (imo =p)

  • dudeee, that's amazing :D

all my australian shepherd does is bite

    my head D:

  • I've been thinking about getting an Australian Shepherd and your dog is seriously inspiring me. What an intelligent breed and Mojo is obviously a first class example of how clever and happy these dogs are performing for their owners. Beautiful dog.

  • Ahh..yes! That's an Aussom Aussie!! Thanks for sharing. So danged cute it made me cry.

  • WHAT A CLEVER DOG!

  • wow, that is some serious talent! did you train him yourself, or take him to obedience school? that is one well-behaved pooch :D

  • I just love Mojo :) Your video gave me lots of inspiration for training my own aussie. He's learned most of Mojo's tricks except for flipping the treat and catching it in the air. How'd you teach that? My aussie, Koby, will hold the treat on his snout till I tell him to take it but then lets it fall to the ground and eats it from there.

  • I hope you are not feeding that dog chocolate becuase it is toxic to dogs. Secondly Austrialian shepherds usually have short bob tails or no tail at all. sometimes their tail is docked (surgucally removed) But msot are born with little to no tail at all. Jsut wanted to clear that up for some commenters.

  • chocolate???

Why would you think I was feeding my dog chocolate? Its a jerky treat. Thanks for being concerned though. :)

  • @adonn78 Actually most Aussie's are born with normal sized tails, few are born with bob tails, most are docked.

  • @adonn78 that dog wouldnt be 10 and a 1/2 years old if it eats chocolate treats :L:L

  • @adonn78 i have an australian shepard if an aussie shep is born w/ out tail it prbbly has some kinda problem a regular healthy aussie has a long tail w/ some fur dangaling on the bottom

  • @adonn78 Do some research please.

Most Aussies are born with naturally long tails and are docked (if it is legal in their country).

NBT or Natural Bob Tail is found in some lines, but not all dogs from those lines have the bob tail.

  • @adonn78 Actually so you and everyone know... Chocolate is not toxic to dogs. The reason chocolate is bad for a dog is because the high sugar content causes their heart rate to increase. Also, if you give your dog small amounts of it every day they will build immunity to it (much like a human can do), which will make them less likely to die when they get into something of the sort.

  • @chubbydonkey - Chocolate is very toxic to dogs. My wife used to work in an animal hospital, and they had to pump dogs' stomachs when they ate any amount of chocolate. Also, humans can't build immunity to chocolate or any kind of junk food. That's the most ridiculous thing ever!

  • @adonn78 - Obviously chocolate is toxic to dogs...but scolding people you don't even know on the YouTube comments section is a bit obnoxious.

    RIP Mojo

  • @adonn78 .......ummmmmmm.....not true. natural bob is a recessive trait. it is NOT naturally occurring all the time. Have you ever had Australian Shepherd Litters?. I doubt it or your lines crossed were very very poor!

Not being mean but seriously do your homework. everyone is a expert and everyone has an opinion. United states you do not often see an aussie with a tail.

  • a handsome red... great obedience.

  • When Aussie's use to be Herders only they didn't do anything to there tail or ears. But when they were introduced into competitions when they were puppies they would dock there tails and tie down their ears so when they were older they wouldn't have a tail and their ears wouldn't plop up. But I like the ears popping up and long tails!

  • not bad dog

  • Actually the owners aren't the ones who dock their tails. The breeders or the breeders' vets do it when the puppies are around 3 days old.

  • pardon the ignorance, but why do owners cut the tails on these dogs ?

  • It's just breed standard, I believe. Sets them apart from Border Collies. :P

  • Some are actually born with naturally short tails. If they are born with a longer tail they are docked. Although I do not believe in this practice, it was originally done for health reasons because of the line of work they do, they would injure their tails if they had them.

  • he wants the his sanck

  • I thought my Aussie is smart...wow! You have a lot of tricks in the bag! Great job on the training.

  • i have a aussie that looks like this, but she is an adult, her name is "Sheala" =P

  • WOW. I LOVE this dog! He's amazing. What a beautiful partnership you guys have :)

  • how smart!

  • Oh, you two have done a beautiful job!

And you gave me alot of ideas wich trics I am going to learn my Aussie. :)

But one thing bugs me, alot of people who respondes to your post wrights "oh what a SMART dog" Yeah, well he is smart... All dog are. Just that most people don't train their dogs, they just have em' to show of.

Now I have to go and learn my "Kålle" to be dead. ;D

  • I love these kinda videos & my ausi actually sits here & watches them with me! Snoop Dogg is great but not trained that well! Great video & great dog!

  • What a sweet-heart.

  • um, no. lol Actually Mojo was named after a voodoo good luck charm also known as a Gris-Gris. What better name than something that wards off evil. :) (also, He'll be 12yrs old soon, so way before Austin Powers and Power Puff girls)

  • TO: torizmojo

    wat nationality are you?

  • I am Hienz 57, a little bit of everything. :)

  • thats cool:) how many dogs do you have? i saw like 5 in that video!!

  • Fantastic job training your Aussie! He's beautiful and so eager to please! I love Aussies :)

  • i love 3:08-3:10 he looks so funny

  • Thank you. :) Mojo is an Australian Shepherd though, not a Border Collie.

  • go border collies. i have a 3 year old. there really smart but fair play fotr teaching him all those tricks

  • nice =)

  • can i buy him!!! Hes adorable, are you like a professional dog trainner?

  • That is so refreshing, to see a dog and trainer work together so well! I love his focus! There is a lot to be said for senior dogs!

  • You have done a great job with your guy! The only thing I would do differently is give him more treats for being such a good boy!

  • Its good that you only have to say wait once with the treat on the nose trick. Lots of people have go "stay stay stay". Mojo's really obidient

  • Wow, your dog is awesome! I have a small (or mini) red tri female who's about a year old. She knows some basic stuff but not nearly what Mojo knows!

  • What was your dog like as a puppy? Was he's this obiediant and eager to please? did he whine alot when you left him?

i just got an aussie pup, and wanted to know about yours, he's so wonderful!

  • I've met just one Aussie in my life. At first I thought it was a husky/border collie mix :D I posted a video of her on my profile. Seems like a very nice breed, but I'm not fooling myself: You must be a great trainer, too!!! :)

  • awe! he looks like he's angry with the last trick, my black and white aussie does nothing but attack us when we play football. that good for nothing dog...but we love him ^_^

  • Aww what a cutie... Aussies are very smart. He is beautiful... I really love the Red tir's .

  • OMG he looks just like my dog but a lot bigger!

  • it would be cool if dogs could speak to humans. they would be more than Dogz they would be Humadogz. :P

  • Oh my God! I fell in love with this breed just by watching this video! Did you train him yourself? WOW!!!

  • Great job, sounds like you are both enjoying doing those tricks.Keep up the good work

  • This is a beutiful way to show how a dog is trained and it is beautiful to watch, the love was so evident and Mojo is gorgeous. I just love your family's love for animals. Thank you >>pat

  • just a question, is he a red tri? or a merle?

  • Mojo is a red tri. :o)

Thanks for all the nice comments, he's a great boy!

  • Haha! His entire repertoire is that of my last Aussie (another red merle boy) and my new Aussie puppy (8 months now). Our problem with her is she's learning them so fast, we're running out of ideas for new tricks! :-)

  • Dur... that would be "another red tri boy". Current Aussie's a red merle. He's beautiful, and obviously very devoted. :-)

  • just a question, is he a red tri? or a merle? because im planning to get a australian shepherd also

  • wow that dog is brilliant! i hope i can teach my aussie all those tricks 2...great dog u have...
