I am getting baptized this Sunday as a true believer in Jesus Christ. I have committed my life to Christ. I believe he died on the cross for my sin. That he was raised from the dead. And from this point forward I will repent and seek forgiveness. I invited my now temple going parents to my baptism at my non-denominational church which preaches strictly from the Bible and they said they couldn't support me in my decision. I will continue to love them patiently and humbly minister to them.

I grew up mormon and went to the temple a handful of times and can vouch for the accuracy of this video. I want to emphasize that while none of this makes any sense to most of you, it doesn't make sense to most mormons either. The common belief is that if you go enough, all the symbolism clarifies with time.
At the beginning of the endowment ritual, they do not explain what you're promising to. They give you a choice to stay or leave without explaining any of the crazy stuff that follows.

@MrFabiolamb That guy is an ex-Mormon. I don't think he's just pretending to be so. I have been in the temple and what he describes is accurate. I haven't been through all of the rituals but the ones he described that I hadn't been through.. I know several people that have and they tell me exactly what he said in this video. It's good to be skeptical, but I can tell you personally that he's not lying.

@vorpwa113 actually, from what i have seen in the temple, he tells it exactly as it happened. i never did my endowments, but from people i know that had them done & later left the church, they told me exactly the same thing. baptisms for the dead and all of that is dead on accurate. i've done them myself. he's not lying.
I'm not a mormon but I wonder why would any church or organisation would spend time and resources 'attacking' another Christian organisation. We have Catholics and Protestants killings each other in some countries. Would it not be more beneficial to 'create and not destroy' ?

First of all people are born sinners and the free masons came after Christ was on the earth. It's not like they made them up. And satin does not have the power to make you feel good like they way the holy ghost could. If you have ever been around satin I can almost guarantee it's not a warm fuzzy feeling.

A child is sealed to his/her family - for time and eternity, but if he or she marries a Mormon, he/she is sealed to the spouse - who has lready been sealed to his/her family. - Which sealing takes priority? Also, the goal of exultation further complicates this. Instead of being together, the BEST Mormon families will be WORLDS apart. :(

I am getting baptized this Sunday as a true believer in Jesus Christ. I have committed my life to Christ. I believe he died on the cross for my sin. That he was raised from the dead. I grew up mormon and went to the temple a handful of times and can vouch for the accuracy of this video. I want to emphasize that while none of this makes any sense to most of you, it doesn't make sense to most mormons either. The common belief is that if you go enough, all the symbolism clarifies with time.
At the beginning of the endowment ritual, they do not explain what you're promising to. They give you a choice to stay or leave without explaining any of the crazy stuff that follows.

The temple of Solomon was used for animal sacrifices (Law of Moses) and the books of I and II chronic cite any secret rituals and secret things Jesus taught not to anyone.

I haven't been through all of the rituals but the ones he described that I hadn't been through.. I know several people that have and they tell me exactly what he said in this video. It's good to be skeptical, but I can tell you personally that he's not lying.

I think as a mormon,im sort of offended by this video mainly because EVERYTHING was taken out of context..Everything done in the temple is sacred,and b4 one goes in they have to prep for it..taking classes, missionary discussion, etc. yet if they exposed to it b4 they're ready, they wont understand..Its like trying to teach some1 trigonometry b4 learning additions,you cant learn trig until you learn addition..or you wont understand..im telling you all, YOU ALL DONT UNDERSTAND!!...

@SiNnDeEzY89 "sacred" = secret. The reason these ceremonies are secret and why people have to be "prepared" to go through the temple is because the ceremonies are downright bizarre. Forget about the Mormon spin/propaganda and forget about the peer pressure in the LDS church and ask yourself in your heart: Did this ceremony truly come from God? Do you honestly believe in your heart that God requires a secret handshake as a condition to enter His presence?

That's a pretty condescending attitude, but I can take it. What is it that I am not understanding? I think your scripture quote is REALLY REACHING to rationalize the temple ceremonies. I hope people watch the video in full, so they can come to their own conclusions.

@WiseCentaur That may have been rude,but this is how i feel.The temple is a very spiritual place for me.During my mission it helped me so much!And for those who are prepared spiritually,it can be such a beautiful experience.When Im in the temple I feel so close to our Lord, sometimes when my eyes are close Im scared to open them because I feel Hes standing in front of me.I love the temple and its "SACRED" teachings an will defend it till the end.Thats all, sorry if I have offend you in anyway.

SiN, why not be even more responsible and do some actual research other than the brainwashing courses and interviews to enter the temple? these "sacred" covenants are nothing but MASONIC RITUALS that Joseph Smith adpoted for his religion.

@ArmandoXIII There are similarities to Masonic Rituals,which i guess why theres many mormon masons as well..but there are essential differences as well..so youve seen a few utube now you think you "KNOW" my religion, you DONT!
And i have felt the spirit, the first time i read BOM,the first time i prayed about it,everytime i taught the gospel for two years,everytime i saw a change that the gospel had brought,i felt the spirit! so just go play your video games, the only thing youll ever win at ;p

I KNOW your religion, considering I was born in the Mormon church, my parents are sealed, I received baptism at age 8 and currently hold the Melquisedec priesthood, I'm still a member actually (never cared for taking asking to be removed from the records).
