@memomonster123 Some areas have more humidity from moisture that is coming from them when they sleep. But that is exactly what it is like in their natural environment. You just cant see it down in their burrows.

@legoanime my robo was a right little bitch, but chinese are really nice, just sit there quietly, and are very clingy with little feet. depends how their bred though... and the environment kept in as babies, how often handled when very young, etc

From what I can see on the video, you are seriously risking their health in there - if you know about your furry chums, you know any dampness will seriously increase the risks of respiratory illness in them. They do seriously need more airholes, from what I have seen there. Not "hating on you", I love the idea, it's great, and I bet they have oodles of fun, but without more ventilation, they are going to suffer in there.

Many probs....

1) I don't see any way they could breath.

2) You aren't able to clean that Cage as even as it's required.

3) you can't put 2 hamsters toghetter unless they're young or "making Each other" or they will fight and possible kill each other.

4) When you make your own cage like that, make sure the holes are not small enough for them to get stucked or trapped, that would be a really painfull dead..

Setup some airtube intake ports. Get a fish tank tube and a bundle of rubber bands. Connect the fish tube to a butane gas canister and fasten with rubber bands.

Take the other end and connect to your fasioned air inputs of the cage.

Fill the cage with butane gas until the inside air is foggy.

Open part of the cage, ignite with a flame source.

Watch critters run all around.
