I agree with gturner, bunnies know, just like the wild hares and cottontails know what is good and bad if they are given room to play and live normally and not confined to a backyard pen and forgotten their entire lives (except given only rabbit pellets). Wish people would stop buying them for easter bunnies, very sad as now is the time you will find them dumped and taken to animal shelters)-:
I think bunnies mostly know instinctively what they can eat, which is kind of freaky since they seem to know more about edible plants just two months after they were an egg cell than I do after a decade of lawn care.
this bunny is too cute...but does anyone know if it's good for the bunny to eat those leaves? When i get a rabbit again Ima let it run around in my backyard but I'm scared he'll eat grass and leaves that he's not supposed to...
i hope you have the rest of the litter becuase that is a bit to young for it to be separated, if it is a lop rabbit you know when it is ready becuase an/both ears should dropped, this is all nessarcry unless the mother has rejected it ,,,,,what a cutie though ! xx
I am missing my bunny. He would scamper and look cute just like yours. So small and fun and soft. He loved the garden too. (sigh) I liked seeing your bunny. She made me smile. Halleluyah.
We have two bunnies and they are very adorable we love dearly.

bunny looks healthy and well adjusted. so all you so-called rabbit experts can just go eat a carrot if you know what I mean

FYI: bunnies should not get fresh greens until 6 MONTHS of age!! I know crazy right?
Just use this for future reference because greens and fruits are hard on their digestive system. TRUST
