SOUNDS BETTER NOW THAN HE DID 50 YEARS AGO, HAS TO BE THE AUDIO TECHNOLOGY, BUT THAT RICH , VIBRANT VOICE., SMOOTH ARA EVER HAS TO BELONG TO ONE OF THE GREAT MALE CROONERS,.
ive heard Mel, but for some reason he doesnt do it for me, Perry is good too, but i prefer Dean Bing and Frank over Perry. So far i prefer Dick Haymes over Perry, clear singer, sounds a lot like Frank.
The best version I've heard of this song. Much as I respect Sammy Davis Jr., his version was show-offy and not nearly as sweetly sung as this is. Thanks so much for posting!

He had such a rich voice, we loved dancing to his records, and still do.

Wonderfully intimate and tender.
Dick Haymes is one of the greatest crooners of all.

There is a lot of fine material with this artist available. I place him somewhere inbetween Mel Tormé and Perry Como,
names not unfamiliar for a Dean Martin Follower?
