You can't opt out of the circle of life. How many animals were killed and run out of their home due to the millions of acres used to grow wheat, corn and soy(all foods I presume you eat)? I guess those animals don't count in your book? Face the facts, you must kill animals to live or you die. This is how it's been since the dawn of man and you can't change the facts of life.
Being vegetarian is retarded if god wanted you to be vegetarian he wouldn't have made you human he would have made you a rabbit or something like that there is a reason why we are on top of the food chain dumbass
Screw being vegan. Why would I want to give up delicious meat and eat vegan crap or side dishes only? I wouldn't..... None of your bullshit videos or arguements will ever convert me or change my mind.
Its called the circle of life! What about animals that eat other animals? Im pretty sure the lion doesn't tell the gazelle to go to sleep so that it can kill it in its sleep! Haven't you ever seen a lion RIIIIIP apart a gazelles head off its shoulders and gnaw on it!
@gcab1000 Yeah, but lions don't need tools to kill animals. Their bodies are literally designed to hunt for food. If humans were meant to eat meat, then why do they have to use hunting tools and slaughterhouses in order to even get meat? If humans were meant to eat meat, like lions, then shouldn't they be able to just run and rip of heads to eat the meat? I've heard comments like yours since the 6 years I've been vegetarian.
@CuteandCreepy123 Yes they do need tools to kill animals. Their claws arent tools? They dont use them as tools? Just because they are nails and part of their bodies doesn't mean they aren't tools. Humans have opposable thumbs which enable us to use our hands as tools. Humans are smart enough to use our hands to create and engineer. Bet you didn't know that chimps use spears to kill other animals to eat. Are they abusing animals when they kill bush babies to eat them?
@gcab1000 No, those aren't human made tools. When you have to make tools and slaughter houses to get food, it isn't natural. Plain and simple. As for chimps, they like humans have learned to make tools to kill for food. It doesn't make it natural at all.
@CuteandCreepy123 You are a hypocrit! And how do you get food? Do you go and eat plants that you collect? Berries? Do you cook? You do know that even though fire is natural, humans were able to harness it as a tool to cook. Knives you cut lettuce up with is a human tool. The machines that collect the food you buy at a supermarket or grocery store, TOOLS! Your argument is that tools are un-needed to eat food. Im pretty sure you don't use your hands to eat everything.
@CuteandCreepy123 did you watch the video? She was talking about animal abuse and the way we slaughter animals. Thats why she became a vegitarian. I was comparing the fact that lions slaughter animals the same way we do, by mangling the throat and bleeding the animal. They do it worst than we do, they eat the animal while its still alive. You brought up tools. And I proved your argument wrong. Again, you need tools to eat your green, which makes it un-natural in your words.
I understand about the conditions the animals are in, thats why I get free-range/grass-fed. I'm with you on helping animals, but we need animal products and plants etc. to keep healthy, live long, keep bone density etc.
Those of you who want to go ahead and eat meat then go ahead. No one has an objection against that. But the point is NOT to be IGNORANT, and it's to be CONSCIOUS about where the food on your plate comes from.
Sometimes it's important to put yourself in the ANIMALS position, how would you feel, or how would you like to be treated if that animal was you?!
Well, it's harder than that. At school I'll probably starve because they online provide a vegetarian meal, usually with cheese.
Also, where I live, in the South West of England, it's very easy to just pick up some free range eggs from people who keep chickens in a coop outside (like our next door neighbours). Also, since my family is very concerned about animal rights, we make sure the place where we get our milk from is free range. And that the male calves are not killed.
I've been purposely avoiding all forms of animal products since last september. I went vegetarian when I was 13 but now I'm 16 and I wanna go vegan but my parents basically said "I am not going vegan" of course I know they can't deny my freedom but its complicated, how do I make them feel okay with my decision? Also note my dad works in the dairies so that gets more complicated.
@HORSEZOX consuming any of the crap is bad for health. we're not designed to digest animal products. just look at cow milk; not only is mother's milk meant only for babies, this one is meant for babies from another specie. it's complete nonsense that people think they need it- but the dairy industry spreads misinformation and pays for its own propaganda (the "food groups" were financed by them). read "the comparative anatomy of eating" by milton mills (a short article online).
@seymourLlama stop. you do not need to but into my convosation. i know about the dairy industry, how else would i be here. i tell other people what you have said but they either do not believe me or they just dont care. i tell others i want to be vegan but they always so no to me. its hard if you've eaten whatever you wanted for the whole of your life.
@pleuriskip A bit harsh, but well said. A lot of people refuse to believe that their beloved meat based diet could easily open the door to a variety of illnesses that will cut lives short. Vegan is the smart way to live. Sadly most people will never understand that. To everyone out there - hear this young lady out, she’s got the right idea.
You are lovely and should keep making videos.Your wonderfully well spoken, you understand the issue and you express the feeling of compassion and pain in such a moving way.I am vegetarian 8 years and Vegan now, but we NEED the younger generation to go Vegan right away! You CAN change the world..The Un just announced a recommendation to save the planet by earting a meat and dairy-free diet.Meat is destroying our planet, starving children and is the most evil cruelty imaginable
There are 2 extremes, ie. only meat or no meat at all. I agree that many of the practices of the Meat, Poultry, and Dairy Industries may be cruel, however, I think you should put more effort in your crusade by fighting for a change in the way the slaughter houses operate instead of drastically stop eating meat altogether. There are alternatives to buying meat from a big supermarket chain.Go to a farm where animals are not slaughtered in this manner. Don't be extreme, humans are natural omnivores.
other people being cruel to animals is not a reason to be vegan. you can choose to eat wild meat or eat meat that comes from places that don't treat the animals that way. also, research vitamin B12...
Thank u for your video. I am in the same mind space as you explain in your video. I have always eaten meat and drank milk. I have started to actually make the connection to how my food actually gets to my plate. I can no longer be a part of the horrific treatment that these animals receive. Being a vegetarian or vegan isn't just about trying to be difficult, it's about not being scared to have your own beliefs. Watching Earthings killed a part of me.
Exactly! You're so right, girl! It IS such an easy decision to go vegan! Well done, girl! We wont support those bastard industries anymore! - Besides, being vegan makes us look and feel a lot better. Kudos indeed!
>>Continue from the last comment>> I was so frustrated because I couln´t understand how anyone could be that cold and none caring for other beings. Im not friends with her anymore... And thats to bad but it was not all because of that, but a bit ofcourse. It´s hard to hang out with someone that doesnt have any feelings...
I totally agree with you. People who can watch animals being tortured and killed, either they are lying to themselves or there is something wrong with them. When I first went vegetarian for like, 1-2 years ago (but I´m vegan now btw) I showed a lot of things for my best friend because I wanted her to understand why I was changing my lifestyle. She didn´t care about anything, not the pigs suffering, not the rabbits being tortured, and not the cows being separated from their calfs.
I fully support you and feel the same way. And I am from Texas and used to love steak and BBQ. Never again. The meat industry IS an atrocity, as you said. You go, girl!
How about a little less moral speech and a little more realizing that you're no better than anyone else. A diet doesn't give you the right to think you're superior to anyone.
I'm 19 years old and I know where my meat has come from pretty much my whole life. My grandpa owned cattle. Because of that I won't let PETA "brainwash" me. I know there are things that need to be changed. But not all animals are treating like trash to become food. My grandpa's cattle were treated really well.
@lonewolfang You're grandpa's cattle and those like it represent around 1% of the total meat production in the U.S. The rest is from factory farms like those depicted in the video. I'm not going to accuse you of being "brainwashed" as I find that too harsh, nor am I going side with PETA but I will state it is very naive if you believe that the cattle owned by your grandfather are any indication of real production involved in producing food for 300 million Americans.
@lonewolfang But for people who thinks animals deserves to live, it doesn´t matter if the cattle are treated nicely or not because in the end they´re all going to be killed because humans wants to eat their meat. But ofcourse, if you want to eat meat then there are better and worse choices.
people should stop fighting!!!, im someone wants a fuken steak, or burger..ect, then LET THEM!!, im vegan mostly because of nutrition purposes, i understand that animals get abused, but theres nothing you can do at this point!! our society loves its meat and milk and eggs, and all you can do is make good decisions for YOURSELF mostly, its sad for the animals, but its a reality that we have to get used to, ITS TO LATE TO GO BACK !!
I understand what this girl is talking about. If everybody saw the way animals are slaughtered, no one would eat meat. We can get quality protein from plant sources. I will not force it on anyone else, but it is how I choose to live my life. By the way, I am allergic to beef, chicken, and certain shellfish. Being vegan has given me a focus to be the best I can be. I am a weightlifter and a track sprinter.
i love how vegan always cling to that falsehood. ``if everybody saw the way animals are slaughtered, no one would eat meat``. 90% knows, 1% cares. get a life.
i eat meat because i goddamn like it and i kill animals because they provide me with the delicious meat. if i had to kill vegans in order to have meat, i would do it. just because YOU hate meat doesnt mean you have to right to tell people what to do. animals are not human and their lives don`t matter, get over it. and saying that you kill unintentionally is the stupidest excuse ever. i guess we should also excuse drunk drivers because they didnt kill on purpose, right?
@coolbones I like how you just said animals are not the same as humans when you just used a metaphor trying to compare the value of life of a human to rodent. You're basically saying a rodent has the same value as a man by using that metaphor. If I could I would prevent animals being accidentally killed by harvesting machines. Hopefully an advancement in technology can fix that. See that's the difference between You and I. I hope for advancements in human technology and bodily abilities.
@coolbones O and btw I'm married to a carnivore so I honestly don't care if others eat meat, I just refuse too because I know it's wrong with my thoughts and feel it's wrong in my heart.
no, you are not married to a carnivore as humans are omnivorous. oh, unless you didn`t get married to a human. i can never tell with you sick vegan fucks. you could be married to and boning your cat for all i know.
What do we do with the cows/pigs that is left over when nobody wants to eat them? No famer will feed pigs when he cant sell the meat? (lets think everyone is vegan).
Great vid! The number of vegans worldwide is growing all the time. One day non vegans will be in the minority, it's inevitable! Good on you for having the guts and strength to live by your ethics!
@bradleymarzinhour38 Unfortunately, we're all one on this planet, world and your ignorance and cruelty affects not only you. .... Even from a purely physical, medical, economical, political, psychological points of view you are very wrong. Even if miraculously you were right at something, i'd never eat any dead flesh, because it is just plain wrong for a real human to kill, and not just to kill - kill and eat "it". Obviously, not enough of Omega3 - too dumb. She's on her way, you're a hypocrite.
@bradleymarzinhour38 Then its natural to have wars, cheating, robbery, stealing, starvation, poverty,..right? Then wait for your turn,an ignorant "smarty". Who are you to decide whom to "keep" or not? You're stuffed already with so much deadly stuff, you've lost any sense and brain, just chemicals. So, you're treated like chemicals, your life is just chemicals and result of it will be just a pile of chemicals, shit, plastic, destruction &more ignorance.
The truth about vegans is that unless they take a lot of vitamin tablets and carefully plan their diet (which most of them don`t), their body goes to hell pretty fast. And there`s that pesky hormone in soy that makes vegan men feminine and infertile. There`s a reason why most vegan are impressionable teenage girls and old crusty feminists.
I also love how their main argument against meat is: it will make you fat!! Huh.. nope. Fats and carbs make you fat. Lean meat is pure protein baby.
@coolbones 1. Carcass-eaters just like to sound smart, talking about proteins, vitamins,...without realizing that they sound, well, stupid and cruel. We're talking about lives, Earth, nonviolence here, not some chemicals. Yes, vegetarian junk-food is not an answer. Yes, one has to do taichi or yoga to be balanced, but if someone is not there yet, its not an excuse to eat dead flesh. Yes, hippies, impressionable girls,..tend to be vegetarians maybe because it's a sign of heart...
@coolbones 2. Maybe its nature telling them stop eating pain because they're in some pain already (due to different reasons), otherwise they'll go nuts completely. "Infertile"...Hey, stop swallowing slaughterhouses "scientific" bs propaganda, have some brain, do research. "Fat" is far from the main argument even judging from this video. Every creature has its food, plants are alive, too, but they're a natural food for humans. And all food should be taken as a gift from Nature and God.
@coolbones 3. The dead/killed animals are obviously not gifts from nature and God. It's far from any balance and sanity. Even back in old days people of North didn't eat so much meat. They knew how to kill an animal without pain, they asked forgiveness and thanked the animal for helping them to get thru the cold season.
@coolbones 4. Now we're having a monster-plants killing millions of animals everyday, creating a huge bad karma, polluting°rading everything and everybody. We're the only species that kill themselves. What a shame, so sad, so painful. Do you feel it? Or you're not a human anymore, just "hybrid" zombie full of chemicals, no heart, no brain?
so what`s the point you`re trying to make? polution is bad? yes. war is bad? yes. treating animals poorly is bad? of course.
eating them though is perfectly fine. animals kill eachother all the time and humans are animals too may you like it or not. i love the taste of meat and i will never stop eating it, just like the majority of the people on the planet.
@coolJust put together the 1st and 2nd parts of your message after doing a research, getting numbers (numbers help with people who have no heart and brain). There's a huge contradiction there. But if you dont see it, then i got nothing to say to you: ive bad communication skills with stupid animals..The majority of people create hell and their 'existence' is getting worse. You want to follow them-your choice. Follow yr 'domestic zombie animal instinct',follow yr nose to a stinky place
@coolbones Then go and get your meat like a real animal. No? Progress? Evolution? Or you're afraid that someone else likes the taste of yr meat? So don't complain when someone like government, other people, animals, bankers, religious freaks,police...treat you like a pig! What's natural for animals is not necessarly natural for humans. Plus, humans are so "advanced and smart" they started killing themselves, a big time. Did you see it in animal world? "Majority"...what a joke!....
@coolbones You should stop eating American meat. I agree that eating animals isn't necessarily bad, but the way this country does it is shameful. You vote with your dollar and support this system. There's blood on your hands, and it's disgusting.
im not american you pompous, presumptuous piece of shit. just because im fluent in english doesnt mean i eat your shitty meat, use your inferior currency and support your corrupted system.
@coolbones Well it's good that you don't eat American meat. Now go find a conscience and some courage. Because meat-eaters who don't raise and humanely slaughter their own animals are clearly deficient in one of the two.
that i lack a concience for eating animals is debatable (since millions of animals are thorn to pieces each year by machine harvesting crops, supporting YOUR diet making you ``guilty`` too) but it has nothing to do with courage. i didn`t get an education just to end up in a farm somewhere raising my own meat like a peasant just to please you and the other animal loving nutjobs, so you can go fuck yourself. thank you and have a good evening. :)
@coolbones The difference is one is purposely done and the other is unintentional. You purposely kill animals for meat to eat, and the other is accidental.
It has everything to with courage; is standing up for what you believe through actions cowardly? I think not. You have everything you need to support a vegetarian diet in your local market; because you have the convenience too here in the west but you choose otherwise making you selfish. We overfeed our cattle while other countries starve.
You are an intelligent and sweet young woman. I am so appalled with some of the comments. I feel really good being vegan for many reasons. Compassion for life is something that we need to learn in our evolution of consciosness. I congratulate you on becoming aware of this matter you speak about in your video - and so early in your life!
My dad has been supportive of me being a veg, save for making sure I'm healthy. :) Unfortunately, my brother has been a pain in the ass. He keeps questioning me, contradicting me for the sake of it. He's very much a know-it-all, so he tries to "debate" over silly things. He keeps giving me hypothetical situations & acts like he's done extensive research into meat industry. And he thinks I'M misinformed? HA!
I try to validate MY choice of being veg, but no reason I give him will ever be enough...
Animal abuse is not a very intelligent excuse for being Vegan. Extending moral consideration to animals only is an inconsistent philosophy (equation) because it excludes other organisms.
Why stop with animal only? You don't care about organisms that produce oxygen for us?
I'm a Angus Beef Farmer on a small farm, and people who don't eat meat are just killing more animals, you know why? Only large scale companies slaughter animals 'cruely' the small local farms are innocent, but when you stop buying meat, you only harm the small famrs who lose buisness. Then, they are forced to sell out to the big companies, who force the famers to use their farming practices, but they're just city boys and don't know what they're doing. So good job, you bitch.
I can make a change to my life from watching bullshit videos on the internet too!
GUYS OMFG I JUST WATCHED VIDEO ABOUT 2012 AND ITS TRUE! WORLD IS ENDING, I'M BUYING A BOMB SHELTER NOW, GETTING MY KIDS THE FUCK OUT OF SCHOOL, HOLY SHIT YOU GUYS...........
I'm not lying to myself when I say that I will still eat meat even after seeing a cow, chicken, or whatever get slaughtered. In other countries, people eat people after another human dies. You know why? Some in their religion believes eating human flesh brings them higher to their god. Others, well, they simply need to eat. Cas in point, North Koreans, the very poor eat the dead, because they can't just live off of veggies! Our DNA needs meat. Reality is, this is reality, we kill!
I know. It's horrifying. Thank you so much for making the change you made and sharing it with the world. Anyone who can feel anything would make this change if they knew what you know. You inspired me and gave me hope today. Thank you.
chocolate almond or soy milk, vegan marshmallows, raw organic vegan chocolate cake and brownies, seitan, tempeh, tofu, gardein, tofurky, earth balance butter and bezel vegan margarine and there's so much more as this lifestyle gains in popularity. Also the biggest thing I get from people beside the protein thing is, why are you eating bread, it got eggs, no that's called cake lol, bread for the most part, is vegan. Most bigger cities also have vegan restaurants just so you know. (cont)
And lastly, protein is found in plants, hemp, peas, spinach, kale, kelp, nuts, seeds, and grains. Some plants high in protein are hemp, soybeans, quinoa, and chia seeds just for an example. A cup of quinoa to one chicken great approximately. B12? Every plant on this earth as long as no pesticides or herbicides have been sprayed on it as it's a bacteria that can be killed by these chemicals. And we don't just at trees, try some of these, coconut milk ice cream, dark chocolate, (cont)
not born with the enzymes to break down the proteins from the milk of a cow, I know strange isn't it. I wander if that explains the lactose intolerance? Next eggs, why? It doesn't kill anything, or harm anything, and they're healthy. Well guess how many eggs is almost right at your daily intake of cholesterol... 1. Yep one single egg is just about your daily cholesterol intake and that's if its raw. Cooked, your over. Healthy? hmm. Nothing is harmed? What about the hen producing them? (cont)
@kuwaizair I didn't say eating eggs was unnatural... I said milk. What I said is that one raw egg has more cholesterol than what you should have in one day. cholesterol attacks the heart and causes heart disease. Heart disease is a leading cause of death in North America. Once again, put 2 and 2 together.
concoction of colorants, preservatives, nitrates and other chemicals. Meat is flesh, it's organic material that goes through a decomposition, these chemicals are needed now a days to prevent the meat from discolouring to brown and rotting since it has to travel a long way to actually get to your table before you eat it. Next, dairy, so my question, what other species on this plant drinks milk a) after infancy and b) from a different species. Point taken? We are (cont)
and heart disease is one of the leading causes of death in North America. Put 2 and 2 together people. If you are going to argue with me about meat being "natural" and "healthy" then a) fork out the $ for organic free-from meat so you skip the chemicals and b) don't cook it. Because cooking it, like anything, destroys nutrients. Ask yourself this, what other animal cooks their kill. Next, interesting fact, the red liquid in the meat that you get at your grocer isn't blood, it's a (cont)
@kuwaizair You missed my point. I said I have people tell me they eat meat to be healthy.... my response is, then why do you cook it if your looking for optimal health. I might eat pie and drink alcohol, I never said it was for health lol. It's purely enjoyment, the difference is the pies and alcohol don't scream in pain when you make them.
The animals there are give so many chemicals, including growth hormones, steroids, vaccines, so that they, grow bigger and faster so more product is produced sooner, and steroids and medicine so they can live through the viruses they get from standing in their own feces and being so close to other animals. The LDL cholesterol I just mentioned, by the way, is only found in animal by-products. In other words, us vegans have 0 cholesterol period. Cholesterol attacks your heart, (cont)
I'm vegan and here's a few reasons why. Our digestive system processes things slowly unlike animals such as wolfs or bears and so when we eat meat we absorb the LDL (or bad) cholesterol as well as toxins found in the meat unlike the animals mentioned. Also, our bodies have a very difficult time breaking down the animal proteins. The majority of the meat comes from factory farms where animals live in an uncleanly environment, where they contract viruses and disease. (cont)
@kuwaizair Every dairy farm breeds the animals, separate them from their mothers or babies, abuse them and eventually send them to a slaughterhouse. There is no such thing as humane meat, dairy or eggs. Also, why would you want to drink the milk of another animal? I bet you wouldn't drink your own mother's breast milk so why drink another mammal's breast milk? Cow's milk = insulin growth factor 1 (known to be a huge tumour causer), pus, cholesterol, fat and acidic protein. Want zits, drink milk
@thatfruitarianchick if everyone is so sick, and dying of cancer, heart disese, diabeties then how do you explain cultures that depend on milk? or do you think the Masai live off of a diet 70% potatos and Mongolian herders eat rye bread and people in the Sami eat lichen like reindeer?
Congratulations on joining the living. It was a calf being removed from his mother that changed my life 35 years ago. BTW, meat eaters don't like to eat meat, either. That's why they fry it, bake it, sauce it, grill it, grind it, etc. They don't eat it raw. Most of them can't even look at how it's made (from the killing of the animal to its dismemberment) but they'll put the very thing they can't even lay eyes on in their mouths. So congratulations, gentle human, on the awakening. And good luck!
I've thought the exact same thing. I'm 23, and I've been vegetarian for about 5 months now. I'm thinking of going vegan for Lent in February. Keep on keeping on.
Dont be a vegan or vegetarian for moral reasons! Food is not a question of morality its about being well being... Welcome to the vegetarian world ...Veg food is actually good for you
You said something was wrong with me if i wouldn't want to change after that?
Not at all.
Yes, it's in the nature of a human being to be sympathetic. But it's also in our nature to be egoistic.. And to put our own survival in the first place.
I love meat, and i'll never quit.
Don't get me wrong. I stand for animal rights. There are products you can buy that are guaranteed that the animals have been treated well (i've even seen such factory). We must not tar everyone with the same brush ;)
I went vegan on the 3rd (not looking to Christmas dinner this year, I can tell you). I feel brilliant (I've been vegan for a month before and loved it). I've not seen the documentary you mention here, but, have you seen Earthlings? Very, very brutal indeed. I could only handle the first ten minutes. That doc has actually been dubbed 'The vegan maker'! :-D
I'm about 97% vegan, mostly vegetarian. Yes, I substitute soy milk in favor over the stuff that comes from cows & usually try to find some kind of alternative for whatever it is. My only fault, I would think, is continuing to get butter on my popcorn at the movies. I'm slowly working my way away from that. The transition to vegetarian was easy, & getting rid of the butter should be easy enough. I get some shit for my diet, even from my girlfriend, but it's worth it to me. I'll follow your link.
Aaah, don't be so hard on yourself. I am a vegetarian for two years now. I want to share that I never felt better in my life - physically, emotionally, fit, more energetic and even more positive and happy. I was eating meat all my life, just like you and I also had my awakening two years ago. I agree with everything you say. Adopting a vegetarian/vegan diet is the best thing a person can do for himself, nature and the planet. Thank you for making this video.
This vid takes courage to do! You are right. Each person has to face who they are at one point or another. Living in ignorance is not an option forever. You not participating changes the world! Stay strong! Real food, fruits, veggies, nuts, grains, legumes are much tastier, healthier and friendlier.
Thanks for helping animals. A lot of people should think a little more about animals feelings. They are build the same way as us. They have the sames body parts and a brain but they dont have feelings and emotions because they just can't speak? Little close mind for humans that are supposed to are more "evolve". I'm about 97% vegan. I'm not against meat eaters but think about how it can be possible that animals don't have feelings. You dont need to eat meat to survive thoses days.
@kryptoweb That is great! What is the last 3% and what keeps you eating it? If you don't mind me asking.... Giving up cheese was the most difficult for me, but like the young lady in this video says, "It's just not worth it." I wanted the best health and fitness possible, and I want to 100% end my participation in an evil way of life that most humans lead. I was like, "Why just go part of the way? Take complete action!"
@kuwaizair In canada we have regulations that obligate producer to clean the product before putting them at the grocery. And then i wash them again. I'm a little paranoiac but stop eating could be worst. @others If you don't like veggetables don't eat them. It's my way of thinking and it helps my life. If you don't like those videos go watch some epicmeal instead bashing people here. Get a life! watching video you dont endorse and bash people is not what i call having a life :)
@kryptoweb that is all vegans do is bash people. they call them savages, barbarians, murderers. they say the omni's are worse than people who rape babies.
they are self righous, and at times stupid beyond all compare with misfacts.
so milk and meat is posious? how do people living in the artic do it? or is it "Eskimos do not live to 120 like vegs in India because they eat seals, whales, fish and fermented shark"
@kuwaizair agree with you. In my area some deer have to be killed to not over populate and i don't juge other for that. I cannot change the world but if people would eat more vegetables as they can it would help. I'm not an extremist. My message is that i swithch to the 98% vegan life style and i've got benefits from it. If can make some people benefit from this idea then great :) .
Dear insane liar bitch- practice what you preach and since you think animals have more right to life then men, kill yourself immediately coward practice what you preach. Not only would your crazy ass being dead be great for enviroment and save water air landfill space for sane humans, one less animal worshipping lying insane bitch would be best thing for hman race possible. Shut fuck up liar crazy bitch.

CuteandCreepy123 4 days ago
@CuteandCreepy123 Yes they do need tools to kill animals. Their claws arent tools? They dont use them as tools? Just because they are nails and part of their bodies doesn't mean they aren't tools. Humans have opposable thumbs which enable us to use our hands as tools. Humans are smart enough to use our hands to create and engineer. Bet you didn't know that chimps use spears to kill other animals to eat. Are they abusing animals when they kill bush babies to eat them?
gcab1000 3 days ago
@gcab1000 No, those aren't human made tools. When you have to make tools and slaughter houses to get food, it isn't natural. Plain and simple. As for chimps, they like humans have learned to make tools to kill for food. It doesn't make it natural at all.
CuteandCreepy123 3 days ago
@CuteandCreepy123 You are a hypocrit! And how do you get food? Do you go and eat plants that you collect? Berries? Do you cook? You do know that even though fire is natural, humans were able to harness it as a tool to cook. Knives you cut lettuce up with is a human tool. The machines that collect the food you buy at a supermarket or grocery store, TOOLS! Your argument is that tools are un-needed to eat food. Im pretty sure you don't use your hands to eat everything.
gcab1000 3 days ago
@gcab1000 I'm not being a hypocrite. I know I use human made tools, but you're comparing lions to humans eating meat. : /
CuteandCreepy123 3 days ago
@CuteandCreepy123 did you watch the video? She was talking about animal abuse and the way we slaughter animals. Thats why she became a vegitarian. I was comparing the fact that lions slaughter animals the same way we do, by mangling the throat and bleeding the animal. They do it worst than we do, they eat the animal while its still alive. You brought up tools. And I proved your argument wrong. Again, you need tools to eat your green, which makes it un-natural in your words.

@Seymourllama

Don't be extreme, humans are natural omnivores.
naimaaziz 3 weeks ago
other people being cruel to animals is not a reason to be vegan. you can choose to eat wild meat or eat meat that comes from places that don't treat the animals that way. also, research vitamin B12...

I'm 19 years old and I know where my meat has come from pretty much my whole life. My grandpa owned cattle. Because of that I won't let PETA "brainwash" me. I know there are things that need to be changed. But not all animals are treating like trash to become food. My grandpa's cattle were treated really well.
lonewolfang 1 month ago
@lonewolfang You're grandpa's cattle and those like it represent around 1% of the total meat production in the U.S. The rest is from factory farms like those depicted in the video. I'm not going to accuse you of being "brainwashed" as I find that too harsh, nor am I going side with PETA but I will state it is very naive if you believe that the cattle owned by your grandfather are any indication of real production involved in producing food for 300 million Americans.
GiveMeFuckingBreak 1 month ago
@lonewolfang But for people who thinks animals deserves to live, it doesn´t matter if the cattle are treated nicely or not because in the end they´re all going to be killed because humans wants to eat their meat. But ofcourse, if you want to eat meat then there are better and worse choices.

coolbones 1 month ago
@coolbones I like how you just said animals are not the same as humans when you just used a metaphor trying to compare the value of life of a human to rodent. You're basically saying a rodent has the same value as a man by using that metaphor. If I could I would prevent animals being accidentally killed by harvesting machines. Hopefully an advancement in technology can fix that. See that's the difference between You and I. I hope for advancements in human technology and bodily abilities.

MrBrutus101 1 month ago
The truth about vegans is that unless they take a lot of vitamin tablets and carefully plan their diet (which most of them don`t), their body goes to hell pretty fast. And there`s that pesky hormone in soy that makes vegan men feminine and infertile. There`s a reason why most vegan are impressionable teenage girls and old crusty feminists.
I also love how their main argument against meat is: it will make you fat!! Huh.. nope. Fats and carbs make you fat. Lean meat is pure protein baby.
coolbones 1 month ago
@coolbones 1. Carcass-eaters just like to sound smart, talking about proteins, vitamins,...without realizing that they sound, well, stupid and cruel. We're talking about lives, Earth, nonviolence here, not some chemicals. Yes, vegetarian junk-food is not an answer. Yes, one has to do taichi or yoga to be balanced, but if someone is not there yet, its not an excuse to eat dead flesh. Yes, hippies, impressionable girls,..tend to be vegetarians maybe because it's a sign of heart...
DenisVolga 1 month ago
@coolbones 2. Maybe its nature telling them stop eating pain because they're in some pain already (due to different reasons), otherwise they'll go nuts completely. "Infertile"...Hey, stop swallowing slaughterhouses "scientific" bs propaganda, have some brain, do research. "Fat" is far from the main argument even judging from this video. Every creature has its food, plants are alive, too, but they're a natural food for humans. And all food should be taken as a gift from Nature and God.
DenisVolga 1 month ago
@coolbones 3. The dead/killed animals are obviously not gifts from nature and God. It's far from any balance and sanity. Even back in old days people of North didn't eat so much meat. They knew how to kill an animal without pain, they asked forgiveness and thanked the animal for helping them to get thru the cold season.
DenisVolga 1 month ago
@coolbones 4. Now we're having a monster-plants killing millions of animals everyday, creating a huge bad karma, polluting°rading everything and everybody. We're the only species that kill themselves. What a shame, so sad, so painful. Do you feel it? Or you're not a human anymore, just "hybrid" zombie full of chemicals, no heart, no brain?
DenisVolga 1 month ago
@DenisVolga
so what`s the point you`re trying to make? polution is bad? yes. war is bad? yes. treating animals poorly is bad? of course.
eating them though is perfectly fine. animals kill eachother all the time and humans are animals too may you like it or not. i love the taste of meat and i will never stop eating it, just like the majority of the people on the planet.
coolbones 1 month ago
@coolJust put together the 1st and 2nd parts of your message after doing a research, getting numbers (numbers help with people who have no heart and brain). There's a huge contradiction there. But if you dont see it, then i got nothing to say to you: ive bad communication skills with stupid animals..The majority of people create hell and their 'existence' is getting worse. You want to follow them-your choice. Follow yr 'domestic zombie animal instinct',follow yr nose to a stinky place
DenisVolga 1 month ago
@coolbones Then go and get your meat like a real animal. No? Progress? Evolution? Or you're afraid that someone else likes the taste of yr meat? So don't complain when someone like government, other people, animals, bankers, religious freaks,police...treat you like a pig! What's natural for animals is not necessarly natural for humans. Plus, humans are so "advanced and smart" they started killing themselves, a big time. Did you see it in animal world? "Majority"...what a joke!....

1111cam 1 month ago
@1111cam
that i lack a concience for eating animals is debatable (since millions of animals are thorn to pieces each year by machine harvesting crops, supporting YOUR diet making you ``guilty`` too) but it has nothing to do with courage. i didn`t get an education just to end up in a farm somewhere raising my own meat like a peasant just to please you and the other animal loving nutjobs, so you can go fuck yourself. thank you and have a good evening. :)
coolbones 1 month ago
@coolbones The difference is one is purposely done and the other is unintentional. You purposely kill animals for meat to eat, and the other is accidental.
It has everything to with courage; is standing up for what you believe through actions cowardly? I think not. (cont)

@canascot02 and then you get moron vegans who make their dogs and cats vegans because of a moral high horse

you do know, all across the world, not every dairy farm is like this
kuwaizair 1 month ago
@kuwaizair Every dairy farm breeds the animals, separate them from their mothers or babies, abuse them and eventually send them to a slaughterhouse. There is no such thing as humane meat, dairy or eggs. Also, why would you want to drink the milk of another animal? I bet you wouldn't drink your own mother's breast milk so why drink another mammal's breast milk? Cow's milk = insulin growth factor 1 (known to be a huge tumour causer), pus, cholesterol, fat and acidic protein. Want zits, drink milk
thatfruitarianchick 1 month ago

I love eating meat! Real meat from a real animal!
Problem veg-fags?
;D

@xDarkland Than go to a REAL farm, not a factory farm. Why the name calling?

You said something was wrong with me if i wouldn't want to change after that?
Not at all.
Yes, it's in the nature of a human being to be sympathetic. But it's also in our nature to be egoistic.. And to put our own survival in the first place.
I love meat, and i'll never quit.
Don't get me wrong. I stand for animal rights. There are products you can buy that are guaranteed that the animals have been treated well (i've even seen such factory). We must not tar everyone with the same brush ;)

Great! Go on, never give up! We must spread veganism and respect and love for ALL creatures!
My partner and I are also vegans, we've been vegan for years... for the same reasons you are.
We've just left some video responses to this video, we hope you like them, you can spread them too! Share them anywhere you like...
And thank you for helping animals!

FathomlessJoy 2 months ago
@kryptoweb plants dont have feelings?
SpEeDFrEeK005 2 months ago
@SpEeDFrEeK005 technically they do not have feelings because they do not have actual brains, as animals do. (humans are animals as well)
TaySwiftRocksMySox 2 months ago
@kryptoweb think of that next time you remove pests. external parasites, things eating your veggies and so on.
kuwaizair 1 month ago
@kuwaizair In canada we have regulations that obligate producer to clean the product before putting them at the grocery. And then i wash them again. I'm a little paranoiac but stop eating could be worst. @others If you don't like veggetables don't eat them. It's my way of thinking and it helps my life. If you don't like those videos go watch some epicmeal instead bashing people here. Get a life! watching video you dont endorse and bash people is not what i call having a life :)
kryptoweb 1 month ago
@kryptoweb that is all vegans do is bash people. they call them savages, barbarians, murderers. they say the omni's are worse than people who rape babies.
they are self righous, and at times stupid beyond all compare with misfacts.
so milk and meat is posious? how do people living in the artic do it? or is it "Eskimos do not live to 120 like vegs in India because they eat seals, whales, fish and fermented shark"
kuwaizair 1 month ago
@kuwaizair agree with you. In my area some deer have to be killed to not over populate and i don't juge other for that. I cannot change the world but if people would eat more vegetables as they can it would help. I'm not an extremist. My message is that i swithch to the 98% vegan life style and i've got benefits from it. If can make some people benefit from this idea then great :) .
