  • YEAAAAA

  • This version is a bit too quick I think... the album version is much better...

  • It sounded great during the concert.

  • I'll take your word for that, sorry I missed it :-(

I wonder if they'll ever tour Europe again?

  • So do I. I will try to find out and will let you know.

  • Since there are just two of them left at present, it seems to be rather difficult.

  • yo solia escuchar la onda corta y fue ahi donde los escuche por primera vez, hace muchos años, a traves de la bbc, en uno de sus buenisimos programas musicales. luego pasaron varios años mas y los reencontre en internet.. GREAT!!!! ^^

i used to listen to the BBC's music programs on shortwave, and there i met yat kha for the first time, a long long long ago... then many years passed until i had internet in my house, and re-discovered them....

    it's a great band...!!!

    kuvezin rulz!!!! ^^

  • I'm glad to hear that.

  • aaaaaaa

  • i have the re-covers cd. but do they have any original stuff thats worth buying?

  • Absolutely!

I think, their originals are way above any recovers.

  • which do you suggest?

  • It depends of what you prefer, but everything by this band is great!

If you are into electronic- or shaman-industrial, get: Khanparty (1992), Yat-Kha (1993), Tundra's Ghosts (remastered version of Yat-Kha released by Ivan Sokolovsky)

    If you prefer rock/indie-rock: Yenisei Punk (1995), tuva.rock (2003), Re-Covers (2005), Bootleg 2005

If you like just world music with only few rock elements: Dalai Beldiri (1999), Aldyn Dashka (2000), Bootleg (2001, live)

  • this does it for me. these guys are bad ass and great!

  • Really glad to hear that.

  • Eki from Turkiye!!What a brutal effects Albert has...I think he must be a magician...

  • Ur-Ha! Go on Tuvan brothers! You really rock! greetings from Turkiye!

  • cool cover

  • Awful sound, awful voice... They can't play this awesome song...

  • tastes differ. i love the original yet don't see anything wrong with this cover.

  • Waiting for somebody to post Yat-Kha doing "Man-Machine"

  • Go Albert! Seen them twice in England - this is a really nice reminder. Ta!

  • Nice Concert!

  • i want to see some higher quality yat-kha videos up here. :O

  • yes, so would i. speaking of higher quality, you mean resolution or what? Yat-kha was planning to release a dvd with classical movie by Pudovkin, "Storm over Asia" and their soundtrack, don't know if they've finished production yet. i'll share what i've got. unfortunately, i didn't have a proper videocam at their concert.
