This was my favorite thing to watch for weeks after we purchased our LG washer/drier set. It's amazing how little water it uses. We did have a vibration issue during the spin cycle, but resolved it with Vibrafix pads.
I feel weird signing up to comment on a video about watching clothes tumble. (Seems like that's a cliche for the ultimate in boredom.)
However, I'm actually really glad you posted this. I just got my new Whirlpool Duet. I thought there was a problem but I see yours uses as little water as mine. I thought it was supposed to have a shallow pool of water, but mine seems to just spray the clothes damp and then tumble them around. I still wonder if it's getting the soap out at the end.
I Like this Washing Machines That Spin Wash Like this because it makes my clothes cleanner better then having my pants sit on the top the whole time, having my soap sit on the top and wasting all that water for extra large loads and waste of soap so i perfer using this kind of washing machine
That's fine for washing with little water, more concentrated detergent etc does a better job washing with little water, but rinsing is a different story. The rinse water needs to be a little deeper, not much deeper but somewhat.
Clothes get much more clean in front loaders than in top loaders and get less wear. They get clean because the detergent is more concentrated and the sloshing of the wet clothing on the drum is what cleans them, the vanes are just used to lift the garments up and make them fall down. Also stuff doesn't stay "in the center" for long, in just a minute or two everything gets mixed up again

How do the clothes in the center of the load get clean? They don't hit the tub vanes
