I think this one is better, mainly because of production quality of the music. And its kind of harder to take the older film seriously simply because of production. Which sucks, I wish there was a way to remake the original with higher sound resolution :( cam res wouldnt hurt either!

Okay to all those who feel a certain way towards this particular remix, I'd like to say that Yes Kishore Kumar's version is certainly better, However, Himesh's version is still a good mix. I think it's kind of wrong to judge this as a way to belittle Himesh's talents. He is certainly a great singer and music director.. There should be no reason to belittle his talents. We also have to remember that this song is certainly not the only remake of an older song. Himesh Rocks!

The new rendition by Himesh is not bad. Nowhere close to the original but not bad, given the abominably low standards of most remixes. What's really annoying is his decision to use different voices throughout the song. He is known to be able to sing in multiple voices. In this instance, his decision makes the song much worse than if he had used a single voice for the entire song.
