Hi KTrinh, I have a question on my busting. Whenever i do the twisted sonic double bust/multiple bust, my palm kind of naturally turns toward me when i bust, but only slightly (probably only 20 degrees higher than original palm down. So, my question is, is this the reason i am not able to get consistent busts? Thanks

You said that maybe this tutorial wasn't helpful, but to me it was incredibly helpful. I've seen tutorials, and all of them focus on how to "spin" the pen in the second and latter arounds, but the problem for me that wasn't answered in other tutorials was the first problem you mentioned - how to move your finger further down the pen to initiate the second and latter arounds. My problem was that I had too much of an up-motion. When I made my finger go more forward in the jerk, it started working.

Learn it palm down. And I also learned my single bust palmsideways. I just practiced a bit and it corrected itself. Besides, it looks cooler palm down imo

KTrinh93, HELP!! I realised when trying to learn this that when i do a twisted sonic bust, i turn my hand onto the side like the "bust" motion you show (my fingers towards me and that's how I catch it.

Do i need to change my single bust style or just turn my hand palm down for the second? because catching the double bust is seems impossible with my hand sideways. :-/

does the index finger have to be stiff so you can do a bust or can you move your index finger? I have a hard time doing the 3rd-multiple bust. The 2nd bust is a little bit easier for me now because i get 50-70% accuracy doing it

@thenoobmanchan I think that busting is easiest when you have your fingers in between those two.. Somewhere between pointing your index finger horizontally and pointing it up. However, everyone busts differently so whichever style works for you, you should go with that.

I see Vic's slow mos, but what I don't get is that when he double or multiple busts, he only moves his wrists to move his index finger to the front of the pen. Is there something I can't really see that's happening?

@MrFelixlin There's a world of difference from launching the 2nd bust to launching the third bust because the second bust is done from a simple motion of the hand, and the 3rd bust is started from a pure fingerless motion from the 2nd bust, which makes the 3rd bust much more tougher to execute than the 2nd bust..

@IRMEEZ you dont hold onto the pen for any amount of time between the first and second bust. generally you use only your index finger with a little bit of hand motion to do the 2nd bust.

@IRMEEZ generally you would want a balanced mod. though its possible to do the double bust with an unbalanced one, (ive done it with a single tipped buster just for fun) its generally easier to learn it with a balanced double sided mod.

@MrFelixlin you shouldn't buy those spinz pens. I heard they're not that good. You should make your own mod from other store bought pens. A simple mod would be a bictory or an rsvp mx (you should go for the bictory since the center of balance is in the center of the pen, while an mx is a bit back heavy). OR get a pen from penwish.com (it's legit). They have premade mods, OR you can buy pens from penwish to make your own mod.

you dont use two fingers to do the first bust.. if you are youre doing it wrong.. the first bust is a FL IA meaning that only the index is moving/involved.. unless you mean two fingers like the middle finger holding the pen in place before you do the bust.. but still the FL IA should be using the index only.. so no you dont use two fingers for the second bust or any following if youre doing multiple busting.

the pen you described sounds like the first one so it can be done with the mod you are using

the pen doesnt move.. u have to move ur finger up while the pen is completing the first bust.. again look at the slow mo and look at vic's slow mo (link in description) it is tough at first but after a while u see where ur going wrong

when i do a twisted sonic bust my hand is almost vertical. I notice when you do it your hand is horizontal. How do i fix this, cause when i do it i need to turn my hand to get it started.

my guess is that ur using ur wrist to get the first bust down.. look at my twisted sonic bust tutorial to see where i apply the force to get the bust w/o going vertical.. i mean its possible to do a double bust vertically (just did it) but theres a different technique to it.. try to relearn ur tw sonic bust with ur hand flatter.. thats the only way that i can see how double/multiple busting is possible =/ sorry if thats not much help..
