@maskulll These hogs are a feral species and are causing more environmental damage than almost any other animal. They ARE NOT usually native in these curmstances and need to be culled. It takes more skill to put a round accurately into a big pig's head at about 100m (the average distance for pigs. I know this because I regularly go shooting with pig hunters). I dare you to put a group of 5 .303 rounds in a group of 1 inch at 100 yards. You won't be able to do it.
Yes it was a fake. Some douchebag show called "Is it real" had a forensics expert compare the light on the pig and the guy and it turns out the boy is most likely leaning on something 1 meter or something behind the pig.

They "Photoshoped" the picture to cut the kid's dad out (he was to the kid's immediate left), they then shifted the kid from in front of the tree to where the dad had been and at the same time "shrunk" him to make the pig look MUCH bigger. If you google the kids name in "quotes" you'll see some excellent photo analysis in one of the first 10 to 20 results. The whole production is rather shabby.

I can tell you right now that the last pig was officially 573kg and their is a lot of debate over it being bred by the 14y.o,'s family before being released and hunted. Leaving many to wonder If it really was the world's largest pig ever shot.
And suprisingly enough the young boy had to shoot it 8 times with a 50cal Pistol. I own the Desert Eagle 50cal and to be honest I don't understand how a young 14y.o. kid could have fired off 8 shots without knocking himself out. The whole story sounds very fishy with the last pig.

@maskulll These hogs are a feral species and are causing more environmental damage than almost any other animal. They ARE NOT usually native in these curmstances and need to be culled. It takes more skill to put a round accurately into a big pig's head at about 100m (the average distance for pigs. I know this because I regularly go shooting with pig hunters). I dare you to put a group of 5 .303 rounds in a group of 1 inch at 100 yards. You won't be able to do it.

Yes it was a fake. Some douchebag show called "Is it real" had a forensics expert compare the light on the pig and the guy and it turns out the boy is most likely leaning on something 1 meter or something behind the pig.
Was what I saw. Could be bullshit ofcourse, but it looked like a pretty legit explanation.

@MrMichaeltd The pig is not a hoax, but the size of the kid is a hoax perpetrated by the kid's family. They "Photoshoped" the picture to cut the kid's dad out (he was to the kid's immediate left), they then shifted the kid from in front of the tree to where the dad had been and at the same time "shrunk" him to make the pig look MUCH bigger. If you google the kids name in "quotes" you'll see some excellent photo analysis in one of the first 10 to 20 results. The whole production is rather shabby.

I can tell you right now that the last pig was officially 573kg and their is a lot of debate over it being bred by the 14y.o,'s family before being released and hunted. Leaving many to wonder If it really was the world's largest pig ever shot.

What's to be "scared of," if you grow up around firearms and begin shooting at an early age you learn how to safely handle firearms from a very young age. As a certified hunter safety instructor I have taught, literally thousands of children how safely handle firearms.

Never a single accident or injury with kids as young as 5 years old. The first time I fired a gun I was 4 years old. My father was a police officer and I grew up in a house with lots of loaded guns secreted throughout the house. NO BIG DEAL. Just because you've never been around firearms you think everybody should have the same irrational fear of them as you.
