The satin jackets with crystal embroidery and greaser car prints on the back are amazing, but this seriously has to be the most boring runway I have ever seen. The styling is atrocious as well.

I'm not much of a Prada person, but I have to hand it to Ms. Miuccia Prada -- her collection is obviously inspired by a garage (the stage/setting looks like one) and automotive details. It's a contrast between delicate and bold, and she somehow makes it work with a touch of rockabilly -- yet retaining the elegance of a polished woman.

@InnateNobility YOU NAILED IT! i was trying to place it and i think i was off with "lowrider flames", there's definitely more of a hotrod girls, vintage car era flair to this collection but in prada's signature minimal style. it also reminded me a lot of the work of the multimedia artist sylvie fleury. i wonder if miuccia is familiar with her work? proabably.
