@No10kevin I'm pretty sure its welded wireframe and then they weld or braze a wireframe to it and then use some kind of very light mortar and trowell it onto the mesh. Before drying they probably do something to create porosity as well as create some cracks. Then wait for it all to dry and then paint. I think something similar can be done with cardboard and wood, wire mesh and paper machet for in home use. I'm still searching the process myself though ;)
I want to make something like the zoo's have to there parrots. I have a Blue and Gold Macaw . Is there some cement mixs I shouldn't use with him? Thanks , Lisa
