It gets pretty hot and humid June-July, and It rains pretty hard August-September, but that's about it. As long as you're moving you don't feel the heat. I moved out here from OR 3.5 years ago and found a job pretty quickly. In general your wages will offset living costs. There's sales tax but no state or local tax, only federal. Hope that helps!
