i saw mark curtis referee matches back in smokey mountain wrestling days. lmao, he always put on good shows as a ref. he'd start asking fans if the guys were cheating by not tagging in and out and if the heel's tagged and didn't see it, the fans would scream "no" and he'd kick them out of the ring lmao ..if the face wrestlers didn't tag and he didnt see it, he'd ask and the fans would scream "yes" lmao. ooh how i miss being a kid and seeing that crap lmao

So you would be suggesting He trained you when you were 15 years old and younger?Even so, Stu had quit training people himself in the dungeon even before Chris Jericho was trained in 1990(Stu did stretch him in there a few times later) when you would have been 2 years old,so your story would be quite impossible.

@joekickass52 Don't get me wrong, I saw that you did say for the sake of argument. Hence why I said "you "would" be suggesting" and " your story "would" be quite impossible. Brian Hildebrand this particular ref was a fully trained wrestler, and according to Mick Foley one of the most well rounded wrestlers he ever saw. You are both right in a way. Refs do go to wrestling School but they do not get trained how to wrestler like the wrestlers themselves. Marc Curtis here just happened to have been.

RIP Mark Curtis. Great ref that knew how to whoop some crazy fan ass. Protected the guys and just kept on going like nothing happened after. That's referee 101 if you ask me. Hope the guys showed him some appreciation after the match. Ref stole the show on that one.
