@PeterMarleenDaaf didn't receive a manual so used it as I'd seen it being used before by other people, have seen other movies now and see that most people seem to use it the other way around, can't see any safety issues but will give it a go next time to see how it differs. Thanks for the input. Are you in the trade?

@Treevids any obstruction of the line can make your throwbag shoot back with all its painful consequences ... So keep the line open and as far away from you.
I use the Big Shot only if my throwing skills are insufficient, and that's no more than once a month ;-)
