  • Thanks Frederick. I was quite pleased to see them grazing away, I much prefer Dexter cattle but these are quite a nice sight to see. Good to know you appricitate the rare breeds too :-)

    Have you ever seen the Chillingham wild cattle? Amazing to think it's the bloodline from so long ago.

    The only time I went the battery ran out on my camera :-(

  • @noonoobaggins Cheers Ian, a beautiful place and it is wonderful to see them, we have lost so much because the larger cattle were introduced for more yields , however its now realised that the smaller breeds actualy are of a great benifit to wild habitats and this has helped the Galloway, nature is wonderful and I agree its awesome to see the Chillingham herd,great history, ahh yes every camera can tell this story , well I know this happens to the pro's and me also, so your in good company ;)

  • Very nice music and images Ian, its good to see Belted Galloway's (a rare breed of cattle too)
