  • A tough song. You had to feel pain to sing it. Her voice is light but she can do it. Rosemary loved her.

  • that was off the chain!!

one of the best vocals ive ever heard her do, especially of traditional pop

and one of the very best versions of this very very difficult song, that ive ever heard

    and ive heard em all

  • WOW SHE MUST WEIGH AT LEAST 250 LBS HERE!!!!!

  • @dannys2222 YEP! A lot of lovin there huh? hee hee

  • @dannys2222 WOW your powers of observation are pathetically myopic, your comments obviously attention seeking & if you prefer Donna Summer's studio recording to this lovely live tribute from one great to another, why don't you haul your BIG CAPS over there & slam - queen latifah or something? IF you can't appreciate the beauty of this that is because you only see skin deep, so go dive in the shallow end

  • @misstreebird WHY DONT U SHUT THE FUCK UP AND GET A LIFE BITCH!

  • @dannys2222 you don't know what life is, sad sack prick

  • @misstreebird U TALK ABOUT SKIN DEEP? ALL U LOVE TO GET UR SKIN PLOWED DEEP! IN UR ASS WITH A BIG FAT COCK!!!

  • She's amazing. Incredible. Her talent doesn't make this song fit her political agenda.. But she's absolutely wonderful, a star.

  • donna summer sings this song too. i love, love, love linda but i think donna's is better

  • @jimnado1 YES DONNA IS A ALSO A GREAT SINGER!!! MOST DONT KNOW HOW GREAT HER VOICE REALLY IS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @dannys2222 Right. I was surprised at how well Donna did this song too. Both Linda and Donna have been around for quite some time. Two great singers.

  • @jimnado1 Donna's version is great. Quincy produced. it on what I thought was her best album.

  • donna summer sings this song too. i love, love, love linda but i think donna's is better

  • donna summer sings this song too. i love, love, love linda but i think donna's is better

  • The best singer!

  • At this point she had been eating well.....

  • Yes, she's about a decade and a half from when she recorded it and she brings so much maturity to the song in this rendition......marvellous !

  • I can't believe Billy Strayhorn wrote this masterpiece at the age of 17. What a genius he was.

  • Thanks.

One of my favorites by my favorite singer.

  • Linda makes the song her own. Beautiful.

  • Absolutely beautiful, I have seen her perform this song twice and she makes you feel the character Strayhorn (?) envisions in his saddest of songs. Ricki Lee Jones has an amazing yet totally different rendition of the same song. Thank You Linda for continuing your growth in music and enhancing our listening pleasure over the yrs.

  • At times, Linda's tone is quite beautiful here. Her phrasing seems even better than on the album.

  • Wonderful tribute to Rosemary. This is my favorite song from Linda's Standards albums. Love it. Thanks for posting this.

  • Oh wow!! thank you so much!
