I like Mike a little more because he is more fun in my opinion. When Joel was on he was kind of the killjoy, while Mike just goes along with the craziness with little protest.

It's because Joel was more of a father figure in his relationship with Servo and Crow, while Mike was more like a brother to the two of them. Neither is better in my opinion, both roles fit the tune of the show quite nicely, both interesting, unique and comedic in their own ways.

MST3K may be coming back, in a manner of speaking. Mike Nelson is now creating audio tracks of riffs on more recent movies like Roadhouse that can be placed over the movie. He's talking to the guys who play Crow and Servo now about the possibility of joining him to record new tracks. No host segments or shadows in the theatre, but its likely theyll still act as their characters. Provided of course this plan goes through.

I'm suprised they didn't follow up on the 'drunken dorm hootnany' in season nine, especially in the episode Projected Man. The reason being it would have been a fun celebration for the crew's return to Earth, plus the Projected Man starred the guy who played Vorelli in Devil Doll, lol. It would have made a nice continuity.
