Imogene is just enjoying herself so much back on stage before the audience - she's totally forgetting even WHY she's there....to read a dopey line about buying a T-shirt :) However, it makes sense because she's in the earliest of stages of Alzheimer's Disease, which she unfortunately developed until her death in 2001.
