  • Nice stuff Dan. You don't have tabs for your version of gusty's frolics do you? It's a cracker!

  • That setting came from _The Northern Fiddler_, which is fairly hard to find a copy of. I can't remember which player it came from, most likely Johnny Doherty

  • Very cool , you've got a fan here in Brazil...cheers!

  • FANTASTIC!!!!!

  • I love the way you control the tone like that. Every note is clear and in rhythm. Just awesome.

  • how much did your guitar cost? and how was it tuned?

  • This is a gdae (like an octave mandolin) tuned tenor. The prices are all over the map, they can be found from the 30s and modern days too

  • What's your tuning?

  • it's a GDAE tenor guitar, but with a capo on the 5th fret that covers only the top 3 strings. so it's (G)GDA, effectively

  • wowsers thats amazing where do u get tabs for something like that

  • Wicked pickin! More please!

  • now dats sum orld time flat pickin!

  • That thang has a big fat sound with all that droning going on...time to cut onna my 6 string capos down I think. Great picking there Dan!

  • Where did you find a capo that will go on only three strings of a tenor neck? Are you tuning GDAE using standard string gauges or custom? I gotta learn this stuff, much fun.

  • It's a shubb mandolin capo, I just clamp it slightly off center. Works fine :)

  • that was wickic good job

  • nice one

  • Great job!

  • just great what tuning are you using?

  • GDAE. 5th fret capo on top 3 strings only, to make (G)GDA
