My Daughter loves solder boy I've listened to the lyrics and I know that it's not an appropriate song but I also know that she doesn't get the lyrics yet (also my wife doesn't get the lyrics) so what am I to do??(I don't really expect an answer just wanted to vent)

Like AfterEffects/ Premiere? (I don't know why I thought it was a bright idea to edit anything in a post-production digital effects program. I can now add fireballs, explosions, and spiffy transitions to my videos. Can't do a straight jump-cut)

I've loved Linkin Park for almost a long as I can remember. But it wasn't until last year that I noticed that their songs have... lyrics! Same thing happened with all music. I just... hadn't really very listen to a song... Paramore and Julia Nunes really helped change that. :)

I had with one song that I thought the lyrics were so brilliant and I loved the songwriter for it, until I found out I'd misheard them all that time.

It's a Dutch song, but what I'd heard translates to "blinded by darkness", and I thought that was so beautiful and paradoxical since usually one is blinded by bright light, not darkness, but this was so dark that it was blinding, like the way extreme cold burns.

Turns out the lyrics are "surrounded by darkness". Not bad, but not nearly as good.
