  • Now that is what a proper tidal wave is! I hate it when people call tsunami tidal waves

  • LOL ITS AWSOME CAUSE I LIVE HERE AND WACTH IT ALMOST EVERYDAY

  • I once rafted the tidal bore on that river. It's not a bad time but if you fail to stay with the initial wave you lose speed and risk having to trek across bug-infested mud flats to get back to civilisation. That part sucked.

  • what a beautiful place and amazing view! wish i could be here.

  • hahah, i love all you guys i live just over in masstown and seems everytime i head in to town i see it, although our bore is smaller in this video then i have seen it before, the bay of fundy is only one 2 places in the world with this occurrance we are blessed although ive seen it enough times the novelty has almost worn off, its still a great thing to witness and makes a good trick for friends if you just act like you dont wtf is going on when the river starts to flow backwards :P

  • This is really cool. I live in N.S. and I've been to Truro a few times, but I had no idea this was happening. I'll have to go up there sometime this summer and check it out. Thanks for the video :)

  • so tiny...

  • break out the longboard or bodyboard!

  • theres tidal bore rafting there! I went today...so fun.

  • Thanks for posting the video. When we stayed there the tidal bore was not as dramatic due to low water levels.

  • i can see my house !! i have lived in truro all my life and didnt know this happened until 2 years ago and this video is the first time i've seen it..lame i know

  • @cheerish3189 Superb!! can't believe you never saw it before tho, that's mad! I wished I lived in Nova scotia, it's a lovely place!

  • Im in turo every other week, and live in NS....where exactly is this? Im in Turo, then I go where? :)

  • @CanadianReich when you come off the highway at the exit by robie street, instead of turning just go straight up that long road ahead of you, towards the Tidal Bore Inn..there is a spot where you can park and watch !

  • @cheerish3189

gotcha. I drive past that Inn all the time.

  • @CanadianReich Hi, we watched it down at the Palliser Hotel, just outside of town. If you google the hotel, you can find exactly where it is and also there's a link on there that tells you the times of the bore as it happens twice a day.

  • Been There There Many Times !

    Roar !

  • Nice video-shows a stronger wave than the one we saw a few days ago.

  • looks like a classic legging wave ;-)
