  • He was great at selling wasn't he!

  • "A stable business is good"... he's such a genius.

  • so microsoft saved apple..

  • @Excelsoft yes but steve gave Bill the Macintosch prototyps. So it was possible for bill to create windows......

  • The Q3 profits that he couldn't mention here were $101 million last quarter it was $5.99 billion

  • The Q3 profits that he couldn't mention here were $101 million

  • RIP Steve Jobs! We love you!

  • Which pixel is Steve Jobs?

  • Steve Jobs just kicked ass

  • R.I.P…:(

  • Comment removed

  • thumps up if u wr watching frm a mac..!

  • @Prithivdev

    Does a hackintosh count?

  • 3:02 I wonder if Steve still feels that way :-)

  • This is bussines...

  • apple is a great comeback story.. they could've just folded and let microshit win, but they persevered.

  • @siliconsurf they preserved because of microsoft

  • 750,00 sold... apple sells 750,000 a day now....

  • Steve jobs turned the company around - but he hasn't enabled computing for everyone what apple say is buy an if you can afford it. That's not computing for the masses that called a nice mark up. Good business for them perhaps - Mac os is good now but if they don't get a decent desktop out there under a 1000 bucks they've in danger of lose their consumer base to Win7, linux. everyone knows now Mac os x is great - they may look nice - but there's so pricey for low specs.

  • @theapeman10 why is that going to happen, windows 7 is garbage, I'm certainly never going to own another PC again. I use Windows 7 on my MacBook Pro it does so many odd random things its beyond belief I just use win 7 to run GTA IV

  • @macnerd93 - I not comparing apple mac to pc or windows - I'm saying the imac range starts at 1299 euros for a i3 - 22" imac - now I have 7 server/pc and an quad mac and I have a few HP 24 inch IPS screen. I would like apple to sell an decent i5 700 series for under a 1000 quid. - lot's of people have monitors -is that a lot to ask ? - I use Mac OSX ,Solaris, linux, windows - and I will never buy an integrated imac when they charge 800 quid to replace the motherboard -

  • @theapeman10 why don't you shove your HP 24" IPS up your fucking ass, ok?

  • @siliconsurf - And your point was ? oh you didn't have one - now please stop thinking of my asshole. Get a girlfirend, - sorry I am stopping you from your playing your games console. Bye Bye.

  • @macnerd93 - Sorry I didn't answer your question - Apple production parts allocation is fixed to grow at a certain rate - if they have 1 million orders tomorrow because they lowered the prices they couldn't make them quicker enough to make the same profit. This ACTUALLY happened with them going back when they got into trouble. They won't sell you a i5 or i7 under a 1000 quid - because an I7 is good enough to impact mac pro sales. So they sell imac i3 and glue a 21.5 monitor for 1300 euro.

  • @macnerd93 One last point - have you stopped to think if with the extra price tag of apple why they don't give you 3 years as standard - DID you know that nearly every monitor you buy over 300 quid has a 3 year warranty - but apples goods only have 1 year - even their 27" standalone IPS screen only has 1 year - yes so you have to spent 120 to 300 quid to get three warranty. one million products x 150 quid is a lot of money made from selling extended warranties -

  • @theapeman10 I really aint bothered warranty I currently own, 3 intel Mac minis, eMac, 1999 Power Mac graphite, 2002 Power Mac quicksilver, MacBook white and a 13'' MacBook Pro, iPad iPhone etc and the only hardware failure i've ever had from any of my Macs is a hard drive failure on my 1999 Power Mac G4, which is sort of expected, but with a new hard drive inside the machine and all my macs are going strong. We've had PC's in our house what have just lasted over a year and failed

  • @theapeman10 also I'd say a one year warranty is long enough if you want more just buy Applecare. Having 3 year standard would cause a lot of issues as you'd have people purposely breaking there Mac computers hoping that they would get a replacement for free. I know it even happens now and people think Apple will cover accidental damage :L

  • @macnerd93 - I have several HP 24 IPS monitors and their lots of people who don't need imacs for that reason - Hopefully apple will bring out a i5 desktop for under a 1000 quid. The mac mini is idea as a TV media station/general desktop - but I don't like it's laptop spec - I suppose if they did a minimum of i3, 4gb, 80 SSD drive -as standard - then people use have an external USB or network for your main storage. Etc We've see what apple does in 2011. cheers

  • haha he bitches out the flash photographer at the beginning

  • apple won't be apple today without steve jobs...

  • 400 MHz? ha

  • I'm not that crazy about macs but Steve Jobs is the greatest presentee ever

  • Say what you will about Apple and Steve Jobs, but the man performed the greatest corporate resuscitation in history.

  • New 50 million dollars , and now , they're the biggest tech company. In just 10 years , so much changed with Apple. Thankyou Steve Jobs.

  • I just like his confidence and presentation skill never seen it before

  • LOL! "I can't see when you do that!"

  • As soon as Steve Jobs dies, Apple is fucked.

  • @knottsknocks and we'll be using windows machines, zunes and windows phones...

  • Not only that... they are the company stacked

with US$25 billion IN CASH, way richer than

any other tech companies or even car makers

in America. With prediction that their shares in

Nasdaq will peak at $225 by the end of this year.

Current one is $210 as by 7th Jan '10.

  • OH MY GOD! A market cap at 4 billion, and today they are over 180b the second largest in the computer industry. I think it's just a bubble that is going to burst, but WOW they sure did expand.

  • haha, christo930. I see you are still on Steve's hierarchy of skepticism.

  • @christo930 Dont u wish u could jump back and put in 20 mill into their company?/

    hahaha

    youd be a billionaire

  • ha i cant see when you do that hahahah!

  • I think he said he CAN see. I'm curious what was done to which he was referring to.

  • CompUSA AND CIRCUIT CITY GO OUT OF BUSINESS

  • 10 years later... and long after Apple had established it's own line of retail stores (and is in Best Buy) and no longer needed them.

  • Very interesting hearing Jobs talk about Apple's quarterly earnings being around $50 million. At the time of this writing their last quarter profits were something like $1.14 billion. Nice turn around. Thanks for sharing the video.

  • Yes but before he returned they were losing billions of dollars, so any profit was a good one... and no iPod/iPhone/accessory markets. ;)

  • Ahh these were the days.. I used to love those fun Pentium adverts

  • At this time, Apple's primary font was ITC Garamond - a serif font. Now Apple is using Myriad Pro - a sans-serif font - designed by Robert Slimbach.

  • Oh, this is sad. Sorry to hear that you are a barbarian.

  • Yes, postgrad qualifications in vulgar language and disproving the obvious. Didn't we go over this several months ago, Mr. Moron? Oh, I just realized you are Mr. Barbarian now. Sorry for the confusion.

  • Well, I don't hate women, it is just you make stuff up you son of a bitch. Which tells me, also, that you are a bitch. In case you did not know, bitch is a female dog. Postgrad qualifications does not give you the meaning of that word, I presume.

  • Steve Jobs rules.

  • And CompUSA goes out of business 10 years later.

  • i met steve jobs before in 2003

  • wow

  • 14.1 gorgeous giant screen...

  • "fastest pentium ...".lolololol i miss 1998

  • Thank you so much for uploading this video. Stevenotes are a wonder - just like Apple Products.

Regarding the video, quality is not that great but you hardly notice it once Mr Jobs enter the stage. Its great to hear about Apple's resurgance.

  • i no i love apple

  • It's great isn't it ? I love watching Steve Job's keynotes. Very charismatic. Jobs for president ? haha.

  • is it just me or this video doesn't have sound?
