  • Blue Angels have never flew the F14 Tomcat..They fly the F18 Hornet...Learn your jets!

  • I stiil think the Blue Angels never should have traded the T-38 for the F-14 Tomcat A.K.A Barn door .

  • Farrukh you are an inspiration to all! :)

Yes T-38 requires a start cart.

  • HD resolution will not matter if you can't shoot. One should hold camera steady, not move and zoom too fast - that was written in the manual of my first 8 mm film camera back in 80s

  • can the T-38 self start or is the cart required?

  • Why are Talons so cool!?

  • I live in the Houston area. Just a couple of days ago I was walking home from my bus stop, when I hear a loud roar, much louder than the 737s always flying around. I see 2 small jets in formation, so I whipped out my camera and snapped 2 pictures of a pair of T-38s, almost definitely being flown by Astronauts training for STS-133. It was incredibly cool.

  • @Tyrannobeast I lived in Pasadena Texas in 1981 . One weekend we were taking a load out to the dump just south of Houston . On the approach road to the dump we were overflown by a pair of f-105 thudercheiif jets taking off almost simultaneously, it was awesome !

  • Yes that is Scorch, he stops from time to time....yes callsign is from his active duty days, really interesting to hear stories on the callsigns.....no i am not a line guy, cool you are from EFD , id love to visit there, I know a guy who works down there....he is a great photographer also.

  • No I think it has something to do with him flying harries in the Marines but I'm not really sure. Do you work the line up there?

  • That's Charles Hobaugh I work at EFD and see him all the time with the yellow and red helmet ;-) he always hugs the deck!

  • @jmillsf18 maybe that's why they call him "Scorch"

  • KFSM, my airport!

  • Nice work. I like how the Pilot stayed low shortly after TO to build speed for an extreme nose up attitude! That's how Nasa rolls.

  • nice shooting...what camera?

notice how the airplane is in immaculate condition? spotless.

  • Like the guy at the end of the vid....

    "Outstanding!"

  • NICE video, he sure kept it nice and low to the ground!
