I watched a doco on Moffat, who had a channel 7 camera approach him for a chat, just as he was taking a piss on the floor of his GTHO while in the pits...! I don't know what he said to the camera man...

He also said that in those days they used to take oranges with them to eat during the longer races, he said the one thing he remembers clearly about that crash was the oranges flying all about the place.

I met Bill at his business in Auburn in Sydney's west, i spoke to him for a good hour or so about his racing career, he told me the flaggy ran so fast he left his shoes behind !! He also said the car was last seen in a woefull state in a river bed somewhere in Victoria. To be honest, he was one of the friendliest guys i have ever met, he showed me through a room dedicated to his career chockers full of awesome memorabilia.

I actually work with the guy who, you can see in the footage, nearly got hit by the car. He was taking photos on a tripod just before the car hit barrier.
