Wow! This was AWFUL!

First, plastic wrap holds in bacteria, and the skin will become too moist. You will likely get an infection that way. Also, when your skin is moist and you have a wound, it causes the skin to slough off, taking your tattoo with it.

Your tattoo needs to scab over. It's a flesh wound. You don't want to rub your tattoo with ANYTHING aside from a flat palm when washing it.

This is the exact opposite of what you should do when you get a tattoo. I feel sorry for his clients!!

i leave the wrap on the first night then i take it off and let my skin BREATH. I´m British but live in Germany and have tattoos from Britian and in Germany. I use a spray once a day on my new tattoo and nt a cream. what i use is PANTHENOL spray. It´s not ``fatty`´ like cream and dries up the `´wound´´ better. I was shown this from a tattooArtist here and it works Good.

Well Actually for the first day or two its actually ok to!

It is actually advised, the ink wont be forced out the only thing that will be removed is plasma build up!

This is of course only for the first day or two (Pre-Scab)!

This is too remove plasma (which causes scabs!!)!

Never Scrub after the first day or two, as scabbing will usually take place and scrubbing of intensive washing can peel scabs and damage the tattoo!

Soap is usually fine although it's recommended to use anti-bacterial soap

bad idea, first if your tattoo is covered w/ plastic, take it off ASAP! It keep the tattoo from breathing. Second, no hot water cool/warm with your hand only! Finally don't soak it and blot dry first then air dry for about 3-5 min, and apply A&D for first 2 days then switch to Cure or Eucerin.
