it should be mentioned that you should use 99 percent iso alcohol as the lesser alcohol from the pharmacies etc only stock 70 percent and 91 percent which is no good for thermal print heads as they contain water. you do not want to put anything less than 99 percent onto a thermal print head to clean as you may damage the head otherwise.
