You Tube has pages that provide directions for how upload a video file from your computer, the way I do it. Once a computer has created the video file from your camcorder, uploading is really easy. Whether you can uplodad directly from a camcorder is something I don't know.

As for digital stills, they can be uploaded to a computer or a website as well. But You Tube does not accept stills, far as I know. Plenty of websites upload still pictures for free, such as Flickr. Good luck!
