Peter Garbriel is a musician who is way ahead of his time. His lyrics are incredibly powerful and his music is magical. Definitely one of my favourite music artists.

@Calebus , it is the same reason why when he was with Genesis they never opened for anyone's show nor had anyone open up for them, even in their earliest years. Their music got the hairs to stand up on the back of everyone's neck so much so that Genesis HAD to be the only reason people were coming to their show and had to be the only thing they saw. Peter Gabriel has continued with the spine tingling music and I'm sure that other singer was pretty intimidated as you said.
