  • Comment removed

  • Borge's grabbing hie tie, and he mixes the songs up! XDDDD

  • I do blubs

  • I watched the other video, I stil don't get "negi negi" but it sounds so funny that I laughed...

  • @Tonkeliponkeli earlier he said that negi means onion, so negi negi means two onions

  • @Raven001 I know what negi negi means but I still don't get the joke... either I'm dumb or I have missed something. At least there are lots of Borge videos to cheer my day, every day.

  • i cant breath hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Don't know if anybody knew, but thats Borge's son :)

  • @dc619 looks a lot like him so i am not surprised!!! :D

  • @blizzardoakenshield Indeed...I was watching a little hour special on PBS (lol) and it showed him (his son, cannot remember his name but it said his name and under it "Borge's son" so ya)..

  • 3:52

    My favorite part XD

  • If he were still alive today, and he were playing this fair city, I'd RUN to buy tickets. Talented comic... EXTREMELY talented musician... underrated in my book.

  • 38 people don't know what real comedy is. I loved every second of this!

  • Absolutely hilarious stuff! Igudesman & Joo are also pretty darn funny but Victor Borge will always be the best!

  • 1980's = Vcitor Borge

    2011 = Tim Minchin

  • @Turbo5Turtle Tim Minchin rips off every great comedian there has ever been. Sorry sir you have taste in hacks :P

  • i heard that the page turner is his son?

  • Worth every second

  • This guy is an amazing pianist

  • Does anyone know the title of the piece he initially plays, before Liebestraum?

  • The one and only Victor Borge!

  • i suppose 38 madams are laying eggs..

  • i'm crying in laughter!

  • LOL

  • Fun fact. The guy who "runs the lights" is really his son.

  • what's negi negi?

  • @LotusKST previous to this section of the show he makes a joke about japanese people and onion breath. Negi Negi = onions (apparently)

  • @lank05 oh thank you. i finally get it!

  • @LotusKST not a problem :)

  • @LotusKST It's "Onion Onion"

  • The young man who turns the pages for him is actually Victor Borge's son. This is just brilliant!

  • 37 people are mispronouncing Fliszt's name as "F. Liszt."

  • You don't say "M. Ozart!!"

  • For all that don't this, the "Page Turner" is really Victor Borge's son!!!

  • Victor shows that the best comedy is done without the use of fowl language or crude humor. His comedy is one-of-a-kind and it's a shame this man has died. He reminds me so much of my grandfather to where I feel like every time I watch this, I can't help but smile.

  • @pokesfan92 by " fowl language" are you talking about people talking like ducks and chickens? Or did you mean "foul language"? ;-)

  • @MrCzecher lol I just realized I spelled that wrong. Everyone knew what I meant, but just for the record, I meant "foul" haha I guess it kinda goes with the "laying eggs" joke

  • This clip had me laughing so much I was in tears - he was the greatest. Thanks for sharing this

  • thats his son

  • 4:18 is the definition of funny

  • He is so funny and a awesome Piano Player.

  • i call the lights!!!

  • "Pardon me Madam, are you laying eggs?!"

  • @mazzmarach, yes it's his son Ronald. He followed his dad on many tours being the bud of many jokes.

  • humour and piano go hand in hand

  • So funny! He is also an AMAZING pianist I mean incredible....

  • Hillarious! God bless you and his family!

  • To elizabethtiu: Yes that is one of his 5 kids

  • Wonderful and timeless. H reminds me of Chaplin.

  • I wish he was my dad :)

  • Witch piece is he playing ?

  • Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that guy his son?

  • @Mazzmarach yes it is his son

  • I watched this in Band Class and I laughed so hard I was crying!

  • At 7:34 "Turkey in the straw" (Hornpipe)

  • Pardon me madam, are you laying eggs? :D:D:D THE BEST ONE I'VE HEARD IN YEARS!!!

  • @ChristianFire7 is it because she's "cackling" like a chicken??? :( I don't get it!

  • @carrotsRgood4you Haven't you heard what a chicken sounds when it's laying eggs? Well, it's exactly like that woman cackling

  • that was his son lolol

  • F Liszt=Fliszt

    Mozart=M Ozart XDDDDD

  • negi negi? what does that mean?

  • @anujgoalie

Earlier in the video, (not shown in this clip) he says it's japanese for onions.

  • True genius!

  • "Pardon Me Madam Are You Laying Eggs?" Lmfao !

  • The page turner is Victor's second cousin twice removed.

  • @theVAGINAntichrist

after this act probable ever further removed.

  • What is the name of the piece at 3:10?

  • I grew up watching this incredible man. Soooooo funny & talented. I miss him.

  • 35 people are laying eggs

  • can anyone please tell me the names of all the pieces that he played in here?

  • The page turner is Victors nephew.

  • @TheImpressionable I think it's his son actually. In another video of him playing toward the end of one of his shows he made a reference to the fact that he had five children and "That page-turner with the stupid red tie happens to be one of them."

  • The page turner is Victor's son.

  • brilliant!

  • " You don't say M. Ozart!" LOLOLOL

  • just to fill ya in... the guy in this is Ron his son.... I miss Victor greatly....a true inspiration!

  • hahahahahahaha this is hysterical!!

    borge is awesome!!!

  • I can't believe .. I wonder if this bumbling idiot, was part of the act on purpose, or he was just such a dim bulb, that it added so much to the performance..

  • @kiyotewolf Pretty sure that's his son, and yes it's a part of the act.

  • 7:59

Michael Jackson had nothing on Victor Borge...

  • Not just a consumate musician, but a superb physical clown as well.

  • Ganz großes Kino! Und das ohne jemanden zu beleidigen, ohne Kraftausdrücke, ohne unter die Gürtellinie zu schlagen. Einfach zum brüllen komisch, zeitlos und elegant!

  • What does negi negi mean?

  • @Koreangrl13 it comes from another part of his act. "Funny Jokes Part 2". He talks about how he learned Japanese and "Negi" he says means onion, and when some one has onion on their breathe just say "negi negi" and they will say "ah, so.." and back up.... and then take your picture.

  • hahahaha he's GENIUS

  • mam, ar eyou laying eggs?

  • This is great "vaudeville" and it is Turkey in the Straw (a square dance) that ends it!

"what happens if the lights don´t come when you call them?" - imagine V. Borge as a superb father!

  • 35 people who disliked this video had their tonsils removed recently.

  • The page turner is Victor's son Ron.

  • A class act, who never passed up a chance to make someone squirm. The world needs more Victor Borges.

    Borgoi? Borgs? Borgii?

  • when he hears that the guy calls the lights he has this look on his face like, "poor poor boy"

  • Comment removed

  • Who the heck would dislike this?

  • the page turner man was Borge's son...

  • Comedy at it's finest. A shame that comedy today has to be vulgar, full of cuss words, and plain old raunchy. This type of comedy is in a class all by itself. Absolutely wonderful.

  • classiest comedian ever

  • rotzekacke

  • This guy can't get any better! OMG I laughed SO hard, "Madam, are you laying eggs?" I was rolling on the floor.

  • funny... there are no more comedians like this anymore

  • Anyone know what the piece at 3:50 is?

  • proof you don't have to be vulgar to be funny

  • @Joan18706 It helps though.

  • @Joan18706 Haven't you seen the phonetic punctuation bit? That's vulgar, but only subtly. I think subtlety is the key.

  • @Joan18706 Did you hear that Ryan William?

  • @Joan18706 i dunno that p p part was pretty funny

  • @Joan18706 AMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • the page turner is his son

  • What a rare gem. I hope you are looking down knowing how much you are loved and how much we appreciate the laughter you gave us.

  • That page turner is actually his son ... so funny.

  • How many comedians today can play classical music at the same time? None.

  • @vindicadre search for Hans Liberg

  • @malo1912 Thx. Pretty good, but not quite as funny

  • What do you call the lights? Bulbs. hahahahaha!

  • "Mexican food"

  • watching this is was laughing so hard. also anna russel

i saw him 2 times in concert. once when he was 90, the other time he was 91. with they were bootlegged.

  • i think this is his son

  • Yes it is Victor's Son, Ronald Borge. He was his father's road manager and the director of the program right up until the day his father died.

  • Being a musician and having actually been a page turner for people, I don't think I have ever had it as rough as that poor man. Perfectly executed by both men. There was a little girl taking a nap, so it was all I could do to keep from busting out laughing. Thanks for posting!!!!!!

  • M. Ozart! Hahahaaaaa!

  • I can't imagine anything funnier...and I've a very good imagination. I saw Borge live about 50 years ago. But this is the first time I've seen this routine.

  • Genius.

  • This man was brilliant.

  • Victor's using an SM59.

  • @paj006 : some woman in the audience is cackling like a hen.

  • @paj006 her laughter sounds like a hen.

  • Great!!!!!! Just the best!!!

  • You run the lights?! That's against the law! I lol'd.

  • I love this one!!!

  • This is really very sophisticated slapstick, which seems a contradiction.

  • llolololololololololol

  • Flistz!

  • what's the first piece called?

  • What a Showman! Seriously, just imagine what goes on in Victor Borge's mind everytime he plays the piano, you would explode from the pure wit he has.
