I got lost in his amazing visionary album 21st Century Man in my childhood! I cannot believe he has passed from us! Thank you posting this. "Kings and Queens and Lords of Time," will miss him.
I remember this from the radio-one time the radio played "MICHAEL SCHENKER GROUP (MSG)-ARE YOU READY TO ROCK" and Segue right into this song. One time this song was used in a cub scout performance involving E.T. (yes that one), a rocket ship, video transmission, & "I got the cub scout Spirit"...
I bought the album on a cassette, and as typical of this BS, the drop outs got so bad the tape ground to a halt as the music disintegrated (drop out CITY!!) I hate poor manuf. tapes, as the blank ones were ALWAYS higher quality and are STILL working, and then they glue the shells vs screwing them for repair ease
I was bummed the day I learned of BTs passing. Children of the Sun was the first CD I played on my (then) brand new Pro-Logic Pioneer VSX 9500 receiver. IT ROCKS !! and this song is just as great. R.I. P> Mr Thorpe- your music will live on forever.
I use the lyric "It's tired, and we're getting late" in conversation all the time and nobody ever seems to catch on to what I said- just my little way of keeping the memory alive.
this song - THIS SONG got me through one of the toughest years of my life. it will ALWAYS be in my top 5 faves :) thank you for creating this respectful video and sharing with the world :) peace & love~
Im Only 22 And When my dad showed me this song, i was like totally lost in it, cuz it fucking rocks, i like the synths, freaky tune, lets just get stoned and slap this shit on, RIP

this sounds like vinyl. I love the clarity of CDs, but there's something more personal and "spiritual" about vinyl! LOVE THIS SONG!
