Amazing song. Of all the stunning Jason Lytle compositions, this track slays me every time. As song writing goes it doesn't get much better than this.
they are my favorite band, so its hard for me to pick one, but i think it is their most beautiful song and one of the most beautiful songs ever written. jason lytle is realy a poet. and his sense for poignancy is uncanny.
At first I was gonna say you should have taken out the audio from your recording, but I realized that it kinda fits in with the song. I like this a lot.
The visuals work well with the song. It's about remembering and past regrets. The video looks aged and disorted, like memories become. And it looks a lot like the Central Valley (at least the warming sun part) Good Job!
@iopih Thanks for sharing this amazing insight from someone who lists, on his channel, Britney and the Bible as primary influences. I instantly unfriended Jason Lytle on myspace.
@onegnometorule that was just my sister messing with my account.I don't like britney and I most definately don't like the bible.also,as I already said,I don't think this is a bad song.it's quite enjoyable.all I said is that the music is very simple(and by that I mean the instrumentation).I am right about that.so there you go!ok?
The video quality doesn't matter, it's the sound quality that's the problem, whoever made this video didn't remove the sound recorded by the camera before overlaying the track.
Same here. I think it's the fact that they write such honest music. It makes you feel like you know them already, but you're just missing their company. Shame they broke up. Criminally underrated.
I was searching for this song and I found your video. I think its really cool and great that you put this up for peoples pleasure. The clip goes really well with the song and is like moving art!
@benlcosta , First, I didn't try to make a typical song's videoclip.
Second, the most important part for me was title 'warming sun' that alongside with natural environment give atmosphere of this tune really good. And I assembled principally about it.
Third, it was recorded by phone so quality isn't good enough.

My mom once asked why I listen to these guys who make me cry so often. I turned to her and said, every tear only makes me love them that much more.

"Haven't been that bad, but I haven't been that good..."

It gets better as you listen to it. It's simple, bitter, sarcastic, cynical, sorrowful in its crescendo - a beautiful song.

maniaczek91, you said that "Third, it was recorded by phone so quality isn't good enough."
i think the phone quality looks better. the picture looks like it kinda belongs in the past, which has a lot to do with the song. anyway nice vid

I think if Lytle saw it he would be happy.
He's modest man ;)

@benlcosta Hahahahaha Man. Look at you. Top Lytle authority. I bet you're best friends with him right?
Get bent and while you're at it, try getting a clue too.
